Real life? What is that?
Graphics are good, gameplay sucks. Overhyped IMO.

Who has authority to sticky threads? Ninjas? Master Ninjas? The webteam? Something on this topic could do WORLDS of good if it were readily available.

not a good place to ask this.i believe Achronos does it.

Thanks. Sorry, don't mean to derail the thread.

No, any Forum Ninja can sticky threads. Just putting that out there so there's no misinformation.

If you sincerely think the person is going to harm themselves then PM them with helpful links like to a suicide prevention hotline number, website, etc. That's about all you can do. It's not Bungie's problem nor should it be discussed on this site. If you find out that the person is just trolling or begging for attention then just shrug it off and know that you did the right thing.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

"...When cries for help go unanswered
And signal fires just burn and burn
We wonder if we're waiting here for nothing..."

Sorry, felt it was appropriate to the title. Anyhow, if someone is beaten down to that level, the last place they should be is an anonymous internet forum posting about their problems. People will take it as a joke, and harass the OP. The worst may happen. Where they should be is contacting the people who make them feel like they're on top of the world, and remember why they should never take such a drastic and permanent solution to a very likely to be temporary hiccup. They'll come out stronger.

Oh, nice one, Eagle! Always nice to see grown men displaying less maturity than most of the teenagers on this site, as well as making the Community look less mature than it already is. Great way to start of my Bungie.net experience for the day.

Hmm, actually, the point he was making is a valid one, even if the subject matter is heated. I think he was implying that he simply would not post in a thread of that nature [I am assuming here] because it has nothing to do with him, and he is right.

Personally, I'd render assistance to the person, but I would not expect anyone else to help. Suicide is a heavy thing to carry around and a responsability that not too many would want to have to deal with, and I can't really blame them.

It is unfortunate that there are people who want to leave this world for whatever reason, and it's also unfortunate that there are people, sadistic or ignorant, who would encourage the mindset of a suicidal person, however, that's the way modern world is and no one can change that. Things are rough all over.

If we chose to help, then that is on us. Unless another persons actions directly impact us, we have no real say in the matter.

It is very comforting to know that there are some in our community, however, that do care and do want to help, and kudos to you if you count yourself amongst those numbers.
