The life bar has been removed from Halo 2, your life is still there you just won't know how much you have left after the shields go down.

UH Oh where have i heard something about lifebars before,...Oh Yeah! SOCOM.
SOCOM 1 had a similar damage system as Halo 2, but people became annoyed with that system causing negative feedback to flow into zipper inc. and sony, causing them to make the decision to put a lifebar in the sequel SOCOM 2.

Will the same thing happen to bungie's halo 2? Most likely.

Hmmm, a lifebar? I can see why Bungie took it out. They wanted to make the game more strategic with team competitions. If ur shields run out, you'll have to rely on ur buddy to cover you while you find cover to recharge. Plus, when ur shields run out, you now cant keep fighting with the knowledge a health bar is still there (people took advantage of the lifebar in these types of situations). Plus, it'll be much better in co-op when ur fighting the covies with a friend and when your shield runs out, your lifeline is going to be him. Legendary is going to be SICK! Does this change anyone's mind or are you still gruding the lifebar situation? One way or another, you're all going to have to eventually accept it on Nov. 9th.
