Well, are you sitting comfy that good.
Now, the trailer speaks of an artificact in the earth's core, and i presume this will be the ark thing talked about at the end of halo 2. Also the game could be based in the past (Something happening that changes time or something) because cortana says: I know your past, I know your future.

NOTE: These are only ideas and are not publish or have anything to do by being made by bungie.

EDIT: Cortana's voice could be weird because it might be the past and an earlier version computer or version of cornata something or weird stuff like that or communication is bad.

About skipping school at Halo 3 launch day

I'm going to school because I plan on having a life...
Yeah, only nerds skip school. Oh wait...

I'm not sure, since at the end of Halo 2 the Chief says: "Sir, finishing this fight". And the "slogan" for Halo 3 is "Finish the fight". I think it's pretty obvious that Halo 3 will follow on the story of Halo 2.

Scince Cortana is under the clutches of the Gravemind, maybe he has revealed somthing to her, or (like other forums say) he is controling her and HE knows MC's future.

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

From the way halos 2 story played out it was apparent that Gravemind was more then hye appeared. He some how knew where master chief was drowning and where the arbiter was falling to his death. He appeared to have the ability of foresight and used it. While I have come to a conclusion on his orgin I cannot 1000% say who he is. Part of me believes the flood in halo stands for sins. " I am a monument to all your sins" - gravemind. This makes me feel that he is satan. " I have defied gods and demons"

Well Satan sure as hell defied gods and he forced demons to do his work . How ever on the other hand I see that he had nothing to gain by saving master chief and the arbiter as in no way did they help him get into IAC (despite what cortana says). See if gravemind would of went to the control room by him self he could of easily stoped halo from activating and then could take regrets ship (faster then IAC) out of the galaxy. As according to Cj cortana(assuming gravemind as well) are a galaxy away from master chief. Thus he is safe from halo. Yet he still helped them and set them up to realize the Truth about the prophets. If ti weren't for gravemind the elites would fo surely complete destroyed as a race.

In any case he is god or satan , Durandal or the unknown.

How ever with cortana after she found something that she thought she once knew on a covie ship she begun to act strangely. I believe we have been lied to by Dr hasely and ONI about cortana. That she might been hundreds of years old. I believe her seeing something or detecting something from her past caused a memory re-lapse. Now it has been slowly comming back. She went to halo using the star map instead of following her protocol to blindly jump because she knew it had to do with her past. She learned and relearned tons of information in halos core.

No time travel will be in it. At least I doubt it, because the voice in the back echoing Cortana is the Gravemind, remember him? He is probably the one who was holding Cortana back while she was in the Mainframe of High Charity. And most likely, since none of us really knows his true power, the Gravemind is probably able to send brief, distorted communications in which we hear in the trailer. Most likely the Gravemind is like the first flood to be created, and most likely he was created or found and experimented on by the Forerunners, then he began taking over the Halo and used the flood to fight the Forerunners, they activated Halo, killing them like it was said in H2, and left the Gravemind there. But I dont really care about yours, mine, or anybodies theories because noone knows except Bungie. But its fun making shyt up huh?
