"What they don't knw Can't hurt Them

Hey guys, I've got a few questions on Primordium that I could use some help with. The monitors in Primordium are either green or blue, is there a reason as to their coloring. I'm assuming the coloring have something to do with the humans/forerunners becoming monitors or something.

Please if you don't have anything constructive to add, please don't post anything.

Intolerance is the highest level of stupidity and inbred thinking.

As far as I remember, and I just finished the book, they gave no explanation to the reasons behind the coloring. One can assume a few things, though I emphasis assume, as there is no evidence.

First, as you suggests there might be a distinction between human monitors and forerunner ones. [spoiler to follow]

343/aka Chakas was blue, so one could assume that human monitors where blue in color. But, the Lord Admiral's monitor was green.

I guess I just contradicted myself. I think color was just coincidence. If anyone can find any concrete evidence I applaud them, because I didn't see any. Any conclusions you can make OP will probably be speculation at best, so I'm just going to say that those monitors where those specific colors because those are the colors the author thought of at the time.

Yea, at first i just thought that green monitors were the flood defected monitors such as lord admirals, or MB.
Another question, i'm very confused as to the infected forerunners that Chakas interacts with. What is the purpose of them.

MB didn't truly defect in Primordium and he never really did overall, and he was green in Legends Also.

I don't think we can distinguish colors as of yet thought i think it would be based off importance than race. Chakas color was never given.

Five exclamations marks are a good signifier of an insane mind. As is trying to hide from Death in an airtight room. Silly wizard.

Chakas was identified as 343 Guilty Spark. Spark was blue.

Chakas was given the role of preserving humanity's identity [culture] Via the Gea he still had. So please tell me why his name would be "343 Guilty Spark".

Chakas made it clear that 343 was a fragment of him he isn't 343 but 343 is him. This being said we honestly cannot randomly pick a color for him just because the monitor we know the most was based off him.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

There were a lot of Monitors in Primordium. He didn't really name all their colours, so the lot that weren't explored may have had other colours.

In total the number might be around 60-70, i might get bored one day and get a decent count on them with an error for margin.

I see why the OP is on those though, all the monitors brought up were blue or green, no red ones not even in cryptum i think.

I always assumed, that the green monitors were those who stand under MB's control.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Maybe the Forerunners ran out of blue lightbulbs?
