Subject: Halo 4 Announcement Trailer Music - Both versions =)

Some of you may have seen that I posted a remake of the music used in the director's cut version of the Halo 4 announcement teaser on the Waypoint forums. Well this post serves to bring that back to the front page, as well as show off my LAST project.

I took on the task of recreating the music track from the original cut trailer as well. This one was more challenging, but more rewarding as well. So now there are two versions to listen to on youtube without any crappy attempts at cutting out the trailer sound effects.

Enjoy! Also, check out my channel for my original work. I post some every so often, and I'd like to get any feedback I can on those as well. Thanks!

PS - I in no way claim any credit for the remakes. I simply did it for the community to listen to and enjoy. All credit goes to the original composers.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

A New World.

I do like that track a lot, but I disagree with people putting it on youtube calling it "Halo 4 Soundtrack" and making up names for it.

That track was made by the IGN media department, not 343i.

Although I do really like it, and I hope that its style will be somewhat replicated by the Halo 4 score.

Where do you have proof of that? 343i said that it was all in house, something that "art team threw together to show the look of the game."

Edit: In fact, the announcement trailers were created by a third party, so in all likelyhood, the announcemrnt tracks aren't real Halo 4 tracks--but the concept teaser is.

I got that from the Halo Fest Panel

At 39:13, the guy references the Halo fest trailer. The concept art trailer, being the one shown at Halo fest, is what I would assume to be the Halo Fest trailer. I could be wrong though.
