Here's something that has been bothering me. Ok let's say if a mother is Pregnate {sorry for spelling}, and the Flood come to Earth and trey to infest everything they see. Would would happen to the baby if a Flood got inside the Mother? Would the baby still be regular or would it turn into a new type of flood?

Discuss.

Yeah still, it's something to discuss. I mean people do want new enemies. And these would be scarier than the babies from DOOM 3

the baby would probably be killed by the infection form as it tries to draw resources from the host...

That's just a sick thought. Bungie will add what enemies they want while still being morally acceptable.

Sick, but I could explain.

a young fetus would be nothing more than Flood food, too small and week to infect. It would likely die inside the wound, so the host mother has more energy, therefore better power for the infection form.

Amature Blog.
Irony: (a) The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
(b) An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
(c) A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect. See Synonyms at wit1.

It depends if it was young then it would probably die. If it was older (near birthing age) then the shock of being infected could induce labour, and it could be fine. Or if the infection process is fast then it could end up being a baby flood. Or if it was quck but not that quick (the infection process) then it could be a half and half flood and human baby, sorta undead but alive. (eg like blade is)

In reference to Dawn of the Dead....

The baby will also be infected, and will probably be a very weak combat form. Nothing that a mere pistol won't solve

The baby would become absorbed by the flood and never be born, or it would die. This is because flood totally take control of the host, and the baby is still part of the mother. The baby, though, might be to weak to survive an attack like that.

this is extremly disgusting and I doubt Bungie would allow something like this in their games.

Still the unborn child would undoubtedly die because the flood infection form would get in the mothers chest and probably feed on the fetus in order to become a larger and more powerful flood form. If this is included then it should be a larger version of the human form but no flood baby forms.

Uh... no.

I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Well a while back someone from Bungie said that Earth had been evacuated, which is why there is a healthy lack of civilian population hanging around in Halo 2. There are tons of other worlds out there for the population to go to.

The baby survive, and if it needed food it would pop out and scare the living s**t out of you, then the mother would eat your corspe. :)
