ok, its the end of the last level in H3. you are playing as the chief, and you meet the arbiter outside this room. it goes to a cutscene, and the two of you talk for a minute. then, you both enter this room that is extremely white with a small path to this platform with a board of some sort. there is an infinite abyss all around. Truth is at the board. it goes to a cutscene and the prophet, the MC, and the Arbiter exchange some words. then, you start fighting him. he fights like regret, but he is much smarter, he uses his weapon more often, and warps frequently. you can't board him, either, he'll warp away instantly. after some fighting, he hits the arbiter with the cannon, and the arbiter is blown back against a wall. then a cutscene begins and prophet warps right next to the arbiter and charges his cannon. the arbiter says something like "Finish him," and then truth blows the arbiter off the edge into the abyss. the the chief and truth start fighting again, and the chief gets hit by truths cannon and it goes to a cutscene. he, too, is blown against a wall, and his helmet gets blown off, as well as some other chunks of the armor. you see his face for the first time. truth says something like "So this is what the face of our enemy looks like," and prepares to do the same thing he did to the arbiter. the chief then jumps up and boards truths floating chair. he bashes his skull in as truth goes towards the board. after the chief kills him, truth has enough time to activate the board, which is the control panel to the Ark. the chief can't figure out how to stop it, and then he has an idea. he remembers from the first halo that there were three power generator things that had to be destroyed to delay halo's activation. there is only one here to stop the activation of the Ark and destroy it. however, this one is ten times more powerful. you have five minutes to find it. when you do, you have to step into it. however, since you have no shield etc, you will be vaporized by it and die. the Ark then is destroyed, and as a chain effect, the rest of the halo's are deactivated because the index's are destroyed.
that, is my vision of the ending to H3.
