And god said, let there be a mute feature, and all was calm.

EDIT: I've encountered a TON of younger Halo players, on every Halo game.

Damn...

That's some story. But one has to learn to tolerate the young children. I know. I live with one.

Your opinion is invalid.

CoD is the dumb person's Halo.

Two completely different games, but CoD actually requires much more thinking than Halo.

In CoD, if you have a brain fart, you die.

In Halo, you have a brain fart, you get shot, you still can win the battle.

Can I have a pursuit warthog? (red&blue flashing lights, siren, black and white paint job, gull-wing doors, no turret but a truckbed cap where the turret assembly should be, and the ability to arrest players :)

A police falcon would be great as well... (Black&white paint job, flashing red & blue lights on the wing struts and tail, no turrets and doors that open and close similar to the republic gunships in Star Wars. Kick... Ass.)

Police pelican would be cool too!!!

I know and thats the thing, I rarely ever mute anyone except if they are playing loud music, mic echoes etc. I hardly ever mute any kids and I'm glad I don't have to. There are some kids that are very good at Halo. I have one on my friends list.

Well, that's your problem then I guess.

CoD probably has more little kids because it's funner out of the box where as Halo takes some practice before it gets fun.

Takes more skill to dominate, not to have fun.

Ehe...hehe, try living with a 2 year and a 1 1/2 year old toddlers who think their 21....trust me, you don't wanna know.

You mean 2 year olds literally play these kinds of games?

What the hell?!

Idk, I've never played much CoD. The games I did play, it's literally whoever sees who first wins. It's like Swat from Halo 3, but with automatic weapons and body shots kill.

If you're getting shot at, you literally have no time to react. You're just dead. In Halo, you have to think about every encounter. Outplaying the other person is more important than just merely walking up behind them.

That really makes no sense to me.

Halo takes more thinking because it doesn't matter if you get shot first?

If you get shot in the back, you aren't good at Call of Duty, which is my point exactly.

It's ALL thinking, not accuracy dependant like Halo.

Trust me, I'm fairly proficient at Halo, and it's my favourite game, but CoD is much more dependant on the brainwork than Halo is.

There are strats and such in CoD as well, and competitive CoD exists. The problem is that out playing people in CoD is relatively non existent. Like san says, at one point its whoever sees the other first gets the kill.

Maybe it's just me, but I like it when you have to be well-coordinated with your team to get even just a few kills against good players. It isn't just you spraying someone and killing them in half a second the moment you see them. You have to actually think about every encounter.

Then there's the strats and such, but that's mostly it.

That IS outplaying. Also, you can win gunfights in CoD with the right tactics. Taking cover to make you a smaller target, drop shotting, jump shotting, stuns/flash grenades.

It's a game about controlling your engagements.
