Key:
H:CE = Halo: Combat Evolved
H:PC = Halo PC
H2 = Halo 2
H2:CE = Halo 2: Combat Evolved
H3 = Halo 3
AA = Auto Aim
_sk = _ shot kill (3 shot kill, 5 shot kill etc.)
Cone of Fire = Where the bullets go. Random (H2 shotty), fixed (H:CE Rocket)
Blast Radius = Are that is effective by the weapon / Grenade
Scope = Zoom feature built into a weapon


Weapons
MA5B Assault Rifle
* decrease damage done in H:CE slightly
BR55 Assault Rifle
* x2 scope decrease AA dramatically
Covenant Carbine
Plasma Rifle
* Shoots slower, and does more damage.
* Less accurate when dual wielded
Brute Plasma Rifle

S2 AM Sniper RIfle
* x2, x10 scope Remove AA entirely
Beam Rifle
* x2, x10 scope Remove AA entirely

M90 Shotgun
* fixed cone of fire=little to no Host Advantage
Needler Shotgun
* fixed cone of fire=little to no Host Advantage
* shoots cluster of needles into enemy. Same ROF as M90
Energy Sword
* Decrease lunge by 1/4 it's current range
Flamethrower
* Continuous stream of ignited liquid napalm. ONly highly effective
against an enemy with no shield

SpnKr Rocket Launcher
* increase Rocket's speed, damage and blast radius
* Remove AA completely
* Increase amt. of time between consecutive shots and reload time.
* Increase time needed to lock on.
Brute shot
Fuel Rod Gun
* Shoots 2 rounds quickly, then overheats (like a Beam Rifle)
* Make it identical to the H:CE/H:PE FRG
* Damage done = Slightly less than a Rocket
Handheld Gauss Rail gun
* Same damage as a Warthog's Gauss gun.
* Limited ammo. 6 shots+4 in clip.
* Reload time = Rocket Reload time.

Needler
* increase damage done slightly
* increase homing and range dramatically.
M6C Magnum
* 5 shot kill, less accurate, greater kick than in H2, same range.
* Recoil = .357 from Resident evil games.
* Dual Wield? No.
M6D Pistol
* 10 shot kill, more accurate than the one in H:CE. No scope.
* Dual Wield? Yes.
Plasma Pistol
* Decrease homing dramatically, increase damage greatly,
as well as the speed of it's shots.
* It would be equivelant to the Plasma Pistol from H:CE

Sentinal Beam
* Increase damage slightly, and add a bit more AA

M9 HE-DP Fragmentation Grenade
* Triple the amount of smoke let out from H2
* Same Damage, Blast radius, and Fuse time as in H2
Plasma Grenade
* Same Damage, Blast radius, and Fuse time as in H2
* Change the sound and look of the explosion so it will
be identical to H:CE's Plasma nades

Fists
* Drop curent weapon with down on the D Pad
* Does same amount of damage as a small weapon's melee, but is faster

Melees
* Sword is the only weapon that has a lunge feature
* All other weapon's melees have greater range,
but you stand still, like in H:CE

* Add a random assassination kill animation, you crack his neck or
kick in his spine etc.

GTAM: Ground-to-Air-Missiles
* Can only lock onto a vehicle that flies
* 1 per base.
* 1 shot kills a copter/Banshee. 3 kills a Dropship.

Artillery Strike
* Link up to the network via computer on one part of the map
Available at random times.
* Only in Team Slayer or Territory gametypes,
on the largest of maps

* If it's activated by an Elite, a Seraph will drop 5 Covenant Bombs.
* If it's activated by a Spartan, a Longsword will drop 5 Human Bombs.

--Reasons to have this: Decreases camping greatly, varies up the
gameplay while keeping it balanced+more skillful, and it's more realistic.

Slightly easier to 'lure' weapons to you using nades

Options
* Infinite Grenade Option like in H:CE
* All Plasma or Frag Frenades option
* HUD on/off option
* No Zooming Option (for Noscope gametypes)



Vehicles
M12 Warthog LRV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 1 gunner.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

M12G1 Gauss Warthog LAAV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 1 gunner.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

M12R1 Rocket Warthog MAAV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 1 gunner.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

Transport Warthog
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 6 in back.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

ATV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger on back.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.
* 2 fixed 10 mm rapid fire machine gun turrets (innacurate)
* As fast as the ghost in H:CE

M808B Scorpion MBT
* 1 driver/gunner, 4 (friendly) passengers on treads
* Same speed/maneuvering as in H:CE

Pelican
* 1 driver, 1 co pilot, 1 passenger (crew captain), 7 people in back
* Only available on the largest of maps
* Can carry any (one) vehicle under tail
---Must drop vehicle from low height, or it will break/explode
* .30 cal turret on back, .50 cal turret on front (used by pilot) 700 rounds in each
* Dual Anvil II Missile launchers used by pilot, both must be ejected to reload,
reload time = 7 seconds

Helicopter
* 1 driver/main turret gunner, 2 gunners, 2 passengers
* Only available on largest maps
* .30 cal turret on nose, 2 .30 cal turrets- one on each side



Spectre
* 1 driver, 2 passengers, 1 gunner

Shadow
* 1 driver, 1 gunner, 6 passengers OR a Ghost

Ghost
* 1 driver
* Make it slightly faster than the H2 version, but not as fast as the H:CE version

Wraith
* 1 driver
* make it slightly faster when it's not boosting

Phantom
* 1 driver, 3 gunners, 7 people in back
* Only available on the largest of maps
* Can carry any (one) vehicle on it's underbelly
---Must drop vehicle from low height, or it will break/explode
* Turret x3, shoot twice as fast as in H2's campaign
* Can fly faster than the Pelican

Banshee
* 1 pilot
* Remove boost function, make it faster while flying
* Banshee bomb is back, 4 second reload time identical to H:CE's 'shee
* Plasma turrets fire slower than H2's and are more powerful but less accurate

Covenant Launching Artillery Unit
The thing from the E3 Demo of Halo 2
* 1 gunner
* Only on the largest of maps
* Has a limit of 10 'shells' and has a reload time inbetween shooting.
* Reload time=17 seconds
* Completely immobile




Destruction
Gore
* Make blood splatter on walls etc only if it doesn't look thick and fake
like in previous games.
--Make sure individual droplets visible.
* Option to turn gore on/off for the younger players' parents to utilize.

Interactive Environments
* Like in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.
* Holes to appear in Ground/Walls/Trees based on velocity/power of weapon.
* Plasma will leave a smoldering black hole

Grass
* Bullets will carve out portions of the ground sending dirt into the air.
Water
* Make water splash when someone is walking/running/dieing in it.
* Make an audible *sizzle* when a shield recharges in the water, since it
is being displaced.
More
* More things like the Zanzibar Bridge falling. Open more gates, turn on
more Light Bridges, Break more portions of bases.

Custom maps that users can create and share. like in Far Cry: Instincts



Cheaters
* A "Vote to kick" option like Battlefield 2: Modern Combat has.

* Your whole team and half of the cheater's team would need to vote to kick the
same person so we can get rid of most of the would be cheaters in case they find
a way to mod the 360

I posted this here cause everyone who posts in GameJunkieJim's thread never words anything correctly, and it's always something Bungie would not/cannot add in. So..post if you like my ideas =D

Actually it's bringing a lot of both features together (like Halo 2's weapons and Halo Ce's lack of massive auto aim), along with more fun, tacticle and customizeable features.

Unless you were making this just as a fun gametype thing, you really have no concept of balence it should not take 5 or 10 shots to kill a 7' tall spartan wearing MJOLNIR armor with shields. Thats why the HaloPC pistol is considered overpowered. The lunges made the game a little more realistic... What would you expect.. MC to stand there and try to hit an elite without moving, or to lunge into the elite with his half tonne armor, breaking every bone in the elite's chest?

I agree with taking out stupid auto aim, but most of the weapons changes are he basic definition of a unbalenced weapon set.

Its NOT BF2 though... most of your ideas are good (minus the balence issues) but we really don't need much more then the pelican, albatross, phantom, and shadow, and banchee? in terms of air suport and transport, but I agree that the humans need an aircraft to counter banchees, (not longsword because thats mainly for space fighting), but like something as slowmoving as the banchee would be good... The helicopter would make this game dumb because he humans don't use them much anymore, I'm thinking a small VOTOL craft would be fine to combat the banchee...

Like which ones seem unbalanced? I've used a handheld Gauss gun at my friend's house, and it's really balanced..and it would only be in customs. lol.

The lunge thing was cheap mainly cause of the AA, go back and play Halo CE and see the melees..no lunge but you have a greater reach so it's like you lunge..only no Auto Aim guided kills =D

The things that made the first two games fun was new stuff. Dont ask bungie to repeat weapons. Yeah, some need to be repeated like rocket, sniper, pistol etc., but new guns and vehicles and maps and concepts all together need to be added. Its no fun to have something similar to what you already have/know.

I see someone's trying to make Halo 3 into Battlefield 2.

Artillery strike, placed on map, where you link up via a network and at random times can call it in...played that before somewhere else...

GTAM...who the hell needs this? It's the rocket launcher.

Hey I was just going off of thing's Ive encountered, so that would only be about 1/4 of the MP maps, and maybe 3/4 of the weapons used..


Lol, GTAM would be something to take out a Pelican or Dropship. Regular 102mm rockets won't do enough damage to bring one down..

And I got the idea of the artillery strike from Bungie's E3 demo for Halo 2 a while back, when the Longsowrds Artillery Strike the Covenant Artillery unit. =P
