The first two games were fine without being able to use them.

Masterchief and his squadmates use jackal energy shields in the books, why not in the game? would easily be powered just like any other covenant weapon and would run out of energy after a few hits, OR run out quickly then recharge.

no, they don't they use regular shields... whats the point of haveing a jackal shield that would take only a few hits... its better without the shield.

i agree, it really is a shame the games dont follow the books more carefully.....they would be 20 times better

it offers no attack, you would have to duel wield it, how much "health" would it have and I don't think it would be that effective at protecting. I say No, but bungie could find a way to impliment it well

what would be so bad about dual wielding it? if those freaks can use them why cant the mc? or the arbiter?
