Three taxi drivers set out to drive across the city. Each driver has enough supplies to last for 8 days; that is the most each taxi can hold. They drive off due east and keep a straight-line course. After a certain number of days, one driver goes back, handing over all his remaining supplies to the other two drivers apart from exactly what he needs for the journey back. A second driver later does likewise. The third driver just makes it to the other side of the city with no supplies to spare. How wide is the city (in days' drive)?
As long as you understand the journey requires 3 people, but only one can make it, and that all the men are working together -taxi drivers, really- in knowledge of this (optimising their use of supplies), then this question isn't too bad.
It was originally explorers and a desert and he changed it. :\

Dear Deej BNG,

I have seen you visiting many private chapters, and always asking people about why they keep coming back. Why is this? Is there some kind of FAQ in the works, or are you trying to get some feedback for the webteam?

Forever yours,

Rollin

I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

Dear DeeJ,

This isn't a question do much for you as it is for the writers at Bungie.

I love free writing, but I am nervous to make it my career. Should I keep it as a hobby and go to school for something else? What does Bungie look for in a writer?

If you could answer either of those questions I would be greatful.

Thank you,

~Quinton~

Real life? What is that?
Graphics are good, gameplay sucks. Overhyped IMO.

I don't want to help you. I'm sorry. =(

One:

Do you (DeeJ or anyone at Bungie who wants to answer this) believe that videogames will ever transcend their image as being purely for entertainment? Do you think there will ever be a culture-changing Jaws, or Citizen Kane (or pick any other classic movie praised as culture-changing) of videogames? The Halo trilogy is big and game-changing, but only within gaming circles (don't hurt me). Not very clear.. But I'm hoping someone might know what I mean - Marty?

Two:

How does a studio make money between games? Surely royalties can't cover everything.

Three:

Would a studio ever use photographers (points longingly at self) while designing a game? If so, how so?

__

If you answer any of these I will love you forever and ever and sent you hearts made out of keyboard characters.

You ask Deej a question, and he may or may not answer it in the Bungie Mail Sack 3.0.

Chief vs the scarab? I find that hard to believe to roundhouse boot the scarab's figurative emotion out of the gaming zone.

Do you like midgets as much as I do?

Well DeeJ here is our (Assistant) Community Manager. He's one of two MAIN links we have between us and Bungie. The other is urk. He's the main community manager (although DeeJ has been doing most of the online community managing recently).

This is a weekly(ish) thing that we've started doing recently where, for a day or so, DeeJ makes a thread asking for questions for either himself or any other member of the Bungie staff and then he picks 20odd questions from here and answers them. Either by himself, or supplying an answer from the person its asked to.

Hope this helped clear things up.

When the weather gets bad and snows for an entire week, do you guys camp out in the building? Or have y'all had a campfire in the middle of the parking lot and cooked some s'mores?

Also assuming whole numbers and that the largest answer possible is the correct one.

Why would the largest answer possible be the correct one? Where does it say that in the riddle?

All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.
