I still kind of do, but I won't ever think of them as they used to be now that they're done with Halo. In my opinion, they sold out when they joined Activision. If they create a new game that's as good or even better than Halo, then I'll love it. But not if they fall prone to Activision pushing out, lower quality, annual releases from them. What do you think? (P.S, Posting here since The Flood mods said it was off-topi in the flood)

Who the hell do you think I am?

Of course I do, why wouldn't I?

  • 01.20.2012 2:57 PM PDT

I don't think I would be here if I hated Bungie.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Yes, I still play Marathon and Myth BABE, WHOOO!!!

I WAS SOCK

Yep!

I came to this site because of Halo. I'm staying here because of Bungie.

  • 01.20.2012 5:43 PM PDT

Of course I do.

They didn't really join Activision. Activision is just going to publish their future games. I'm under the impression that Activision has no say in how long it takes them to make their games. If their next game doesn't live up to your standards, then don't blame Activision for it.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

The fact that I'm here, right now, is a testament of my faith.

Yeah.

Unlike when they literally did sell out to Microsoft, so you had Halo in the first place. I'm not saying selling out is a bad thing, we all benefited from Microsoft acquiring Bungie software. Its just...funny to me how off base the OP is.

Activision is going to be Bungie's publishers. They don't have any control over Bungie. Their deal was actually pretty fair, and surprisingly beneficial to Bungie. Bungie didn't sell anything. They made a deal.

Get the hell off my planet!

I enjoy the community and the company. I started with Halo, but since it's no longer Bungie's, I have started playing Marathon, and I like it.

I'm staying.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

Since my "liking them" predates Halo by at least 6 years, I think that I may keep them on my Christmas card list.

For now.

Well, yeah. Halo wasn't the only good game Bungie made, you know. They just weren't as widely reclaimed before they sold their souls to Microsoft.

  • 01.20.2012 7:32 PM PDT

Yes, I have always liked the community side that Bungie brings to the table.
