Subject: Are any B.net brethren still follow the Halo Novels?

Wad Up?! call me, text me, or spank me like a monkey! I was Jk about that last one. lol

Ive seen B.net members on here with amazing theories with the new trilogy along with the original.

A friend of mine made a video about Primordium given spoilers but it does provide huge hints about Gravemind being Precursor. Kudos to that member who had the theory a year or two ago and posted it onto the forums.

Heres a link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dApXxbpYwU&feature=youtu be_gdata_player

Most of them moved to Waypoint. But I'm still here. I read more than half the novels and comics and read all of the online stuff and reference books. I plan in reading them all.

P.S: Wow, I actually sounded nerdy for once.

I'm still reading them, Glasslands was OK, and the two Greg Bear books are begining to explain why Tim Dadabo has spent so much time with 343 industries.

Most of them are morons. I post a forum topic similar like this one and no one replies to it. Implying they cannot comprehend. Sad to see it happening to often...

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Most people here on the Universe follow the novels still, which isn't surprising considering this is the place to discuss the vast universe Bungie has bestowed upon us.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Yes.

Yeah I agree. But, compared to the idiots in the Reach forum, I'd say they're fine.

"Bet you can't stick it"

I've read all the comics, and all of the novels except Glasslands (which I'm currently reading), Cryptum and Primordium.

Actually waypoint is pathetic place to discuss halo universe, but the bunige universe has a bunch of people who will talk and debate over it, and know alot more about the lore than the average waypoint visitor.

Although Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe they do allow us to specualte over it. No official answers shall be given by them.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I recently got my hands on Cryptum and loved it. Much better than I thought it wold have been.

Now I need to get my hands on Primordium and Glasslands.

What's a "gramer"?

"This is the prototype NOVA Bomb, nine fusion warheads encased in lithium triteride armor. When detonated, it compresses its fusionable material to neutron-star density, boosting the thermonuclear yield a hundredfold. I am Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb, temporarily in command of the UNSC military base Reach. To the Covenant uglies that might be listening, you have a few seconds to pray to your damned heathen gods. You all have a nice day in hell..."

Deffinitly still here, always will be.

the Novels are a fantastic insight into the Halo Universe and i have found that it only enriches the Halo experience for me.

I have just ordered Glasslands, Primorium and Crypum-thingy-watsit...

cant wait to read them. :)

Much love for the books and the community here too.

Well douchbag I did reply to your stupid ass post on waypoint. Saying someone can't comprehend something because you posted a stupid topic about a YouTube channel you are trying to get people to subscribe to makes you look like a dick. If everyone who likes to talk about recent and upcoming halo lore would go to the right place (waypoint) it would give a lot of people less to complain about.

And the only difference between this forum and halo universe at waypoint is that at least the moronic posts over there are on topic. This forum is infested with stupid -blam!- like "what if jun is the master chief" or someone's poorly developed thoughts on primordium. You yourself need to do everyone a favor and quit both. My request to everyone else is to post in the proper forum and help people who just want to learn and get legitimate questions answered or engaging theories discussed.

Thanks in advance.

Every one, baby! Whoo! I got a shelf devoted to it. I even have the Halo encyclopedia. It helps when I rove the forums and have fun correcting negligible errors. :)

I hate to burst your bubble, but Glasslands isn't all that fantastic. It should be renamed "Let's all get together and crucify Halsey." But Cryptum and Primordium exceeded my expectations, which are pretty damn high for Halo novels. You'll love them.

This. I tend to stick mainly to the novels, not so much with the comics. I also enjoyed Halo Legends, even if it ended up being only loosely canonical (have I spelled that incorrect?).

Yup, plenty of people still follow the canon. They just don't come here very often. The Uni has become a little cluttered with off topic threads and some less than intelligent posts.

oh yes, the storyline is really flourishing with the books. greg bear is a genius when it comes to plotlines and mystery, probably among the best sci-fi books out there.

  • 01.24.2012 9:00 AM PDT

I kind of moved over to Waypoint.
And must say...haven't read Glasslands yet (as it is utterly unappealing to me, and looks like a complete clusterf---), and Primordium I have to read as well. But that's because I haven't had the time yet.

So I'm not really that well introduced in the new book canon.

Members here dont get banned.

They just go missing in action.

I have read the early novels but the latest four novels I have not read, I have also read all of the graphic novels and I own and have read and re-read the whole Halo dictionary. I'm a bit of a fan.
