Play through the campaign on at least hard before getting into the multiplayer, or you will get owned.

Thats not true I have only beaten it on Easy and I am pretty damn good at least I think I am. I come in the top 5 pretty much ever game I play and I usually get in the top 3 kill counts in team games.

Although I see your point, playing the game on Easy is... well... easy. No, I mean way too easy. Easy is for people who've never played games before. Normal is for people who have played first-person shooters before, Heroic is for people who have already played Halo, and Legendary is simply a challenge for those who want one.

No, not like that, Obi was saying unless you play it on Hard, you will get owned playing mutiplayer, and I said thats wrong, because I have only played Easy and am really good on multiplayer. But to each their own.

Don't drink to excess– You might shoot at tax-collectors... and miss

I played campaign through on normal and have not looked back. It's all multiplayer now. I see no correlation between the two. Even in a full free for all slayer match, you only face 15 other players, and they're not all focused on killing you. Compare that to a room full of 100 Flood.

No, you misunderstood me, I know playing the campaign will not help you get better in multiplayer. I'm just saying that you should play Halo at a more challenging difficulty than Easy. Like Heroic or Legendary.

Hi, i suggest you make it both, sart witht he campaign at Normal Mode, not easy! come on have a little respect, :P, go thru some levels, then , go eat something, after that, make it to the multiplayer, and muahahha, sure you will get owned !! sure you will get pwned !! you will be cannon fodder, but and then, only then, when maths you played end and the score table shows ur 1 nade kill and ur other rocket-noob kill, u will return to the campaign to do what every one of us had to do....beat the Legendary Mode !!! LOL

What I meant by saying playing through the campaign before multiplayer so you can get used to the game, how the weapons work and how the vehicles handle.

I always play the campaign before even looking at the multiplayer when I play a new game. It's just to help me familiarize myself with how the game plays.

And what I meant when I said play it on hard, or heroic in Halo, so that there's a little challenge.

Point in fact: I rented MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf, someone who owns an XBox might've heard of it, for the weekend. I finished it, on Elite, in 26 hours (. While I didn't actually get on XBox live, I was definately ready.

That is what I was saying. Whenever I play a game I always run the tutorials, play the missions, etc. before moving on to multiplayer. This is truer for some games than others, like America's Army, where you must not only go through training to understand how to play the game on multiplayer, it's a prerequisite needed to play online.

Basically, you can learn how to play the game the hard way or the easy way. The hard way being jumping head first into the multiplayer realm and getting pwnt by every single player. The easy way being you should start steady, play the missions, use the tutorials, and overall be prepared for multiplayer.
