I recognized that he's trolling. Therefore I'm not being trolled. I don't see how anyone in here likes him. He's a total rookie and his attempts at trolling are pedestrian and cringe-worthy.

No point to it, when you think about it.

Huh, why don't you go play your own video game that you made yourself?
...
Oh wait.

The logic behind that is faulty; Bungie has their entire team and months to work.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

You can't choose your family and you can't choose your squad mates (unless you make a party).

So I suggest you form a team yourself.

Still, I fail to see in writing where I'm forced to buy and play their game. I'm simply saying that instead of complaining you should either quit playing the game, complain to people who care, or make your own and prove you could do better.

I'm sure he could, just give him a team of experienced programmers and a few months to work.

Also note - just because he doesn't like a certain aspect of the game doesn't mean he should quit. I didn't like the fact that in Assassin's Creed 1 you couldn't swim, but I didn't think "DERP TIME TO BAIL" because of it.

I play at obscure hours. Friends aren't always online.

Maybe Bungie should just fix the trueskill system that's supposed to automatically match us with similarly skilled players?

Something like trueskill is hard to get a perfect match.

Some kids may get lucky one game then suck another game. Every player is unique in their own ways. I find have bad teammates is in every game I play and it is just an obstacle.

Okay then, lets get him that team so we can have irrational people flame his work as well, assuming he knew how to put forth the effort it takes to make a video-game that isn't crap.

Also, unless you came to the Ubisoft forums complaining about this aspect, I don't see the similarity of this example to what the OP is doing.

I don't mean to brag I don't mean to boast but I got hummus for these MINI TOASTS!

I had teammate who was AFK for half of the game and then when he started playing he betrayed me for sniper rifle the score of that game was 50-9 my team was 9 all because of him.

OT:Patriots better beat the Ravens today!

Of course people would flame him - people flame every game. He made a legitimate complaint, and all you had to say was "HURR DON'T LIKE DON'T PLAY". Nice.

Irrelevant. You told him to quit because he didn't like a part of the game, I gave a similar scenario where I didn't like a certain part of another game, but didn't quit because of it. That's stupid.

Yeah, constructive criticism never helped anyone while blatant fanboyism solves everything.

Real constructive, that's for sure. Instead of simply finding something else to do, or provide examples or ways to fix their "terrible MM system" (assuming Bungie reads the complaints of the community), you simply say you suck, your MM system sucks, I don't like you even though I chose to buy your game.

Of course he bought their game - how could he have known he didn't like it before he bought it?

And now that he knows he doesn't like it, he can sell it back and tell Bungie what he thinks they did wrong, and tell 343 what he would like in Halo 4.

Care to explain how this complaint is legitimate? There are people that can win even with terrible teammates, the teams I'm on sometimes win after all (in case you didn't get that, I'm saying that despite having me on the team, the other people get over that and sometimes win, despite having me on the team, not that everyone I play with sucks).

The key difference here is that you kept it private, and he's making it people's business and expecting sympathy. Whereas, I don't care and have no sympathy for people who complain on the forums in manners such as his, especially with issues this old. Granted, I shouldn't have commented in the first place if I apparently wasn't going to worship his viewpoint and curse Bungie to hell, so I guess I'm at fault as well for expressing my opinion of his opinion.

That's the thing though, he says he's being "constructive" when in reality all he's doing is saying "It's bad, you're bad, -blam!- you". Maybe I'd be more inclined to respect his opinion if he was actually being constructive.

I appreciate your concern for my emotional state, but no, I just woke up and as a result am quite mellow. My typing might seem more eloquent than what you're used to however, implying that I am deeply connected to this topic, implying that I am indeed mad. Again, thanks for caring.

Just because you can doesn't mean he can. He doesn't like the MatchMaking system, so he's telling Bungie what he doesn't like. Giving feedback. He's giving feedback to the wrong group, but giving feedback nonetheless. And he has a right to do so.

Oh, now you're just pulling thing to complain about out of your ass...which is ironic.

If you think nobody cares about his opinion, why would he care about yours? You posted anyway, so now I'm voicing my opinion of your opinion of his opinion, and now it's gotten pretty messy, aye?

I see you skipped my post where I said they should match us up with/against players of similar skill. You know what they call that in Halo? Trueskill. Bungie said it was in Reach but it's not so apparent. In halo 3 it really worked well in social. I used to run full parties and match good players also searching in parties. In reach though it's more of an anyone can match anyone kinda deal.

You're on the right track there, to being constructive. If you like trueskill (which I agree is important), maybe you should go back to Halo 3. Matches take a while to start, but I'm sure you could find other like-minded individuals who would love to partake in some matches.

He has a right to do so? Then, why don't I have a right to express my views as well? And if nobody cares about his opinion but he expresses it anyway, why would I expect any less?

Nowhere did I state my opinion mattered, but it obviously matters enough to get both you and the OP to engage in heated debate with me. May I remind you that you began this debate, which is indeed expressing your views, which I again have no problem with, so long as you have no problem with me returning my rebuttals.

This whole argument is very circular, shall we just agree to disagree about how constructive criticism should be brought forward?
