Almost nobody noscopes at top tier snipes, especially at close range. Quickscoping all the way
...

Yes they do. I've seen a ton of people at 50 high snipers no scope. It's much easier and more efficient than quickscoping at times because you don't have to zoom out after every shot.
why would you unscope after you quickscope in and miss? If you are anywhere near competent your reticule will be close enough to your opponent to stay scoped and whip it over onto them.
Obviously if you are both right in each others' faces (3 feet or so) then you will probably noscope. Most cases quickscoping is the most effective thing to do.

It's not just my opinion. Quickscoping is less random and easier than noscoping.

not for me
and if we're going by 'speed' here then noscopes win hands down

What do you mean by speed? I can quickscope just as fast as noscoping, it's not like I stand still and line it up first.

People only usually quickscope at a distance though. Nobody really quickscopes at close range because if you get shot or something, you'll completely miss. No scoping is more consistent at that point.

By the way, when I say close range, I mean less than about a room away from someone. Like if two people are top mid on Guardian or something.

Well if I'm at blue window and my opponent is at camo I'm going to quickscope. From that range it's far easier.

Tin shacks and catfish bones.

A long range weapon should never be used in a long range situation.

Well it's typically the range most sniper fights take place before you get close enough to check them for hernias

I was assuming you meant long range as in s2 to top gold on guardian or further.
