Halo 3: CollapseChapter 20, Revelations, is up (update 11-14-10)The MirratordΩ
In Halo 2, the bosses were the Heretic Leader, the Prophet of Regret, and Tartarus. Did you like the boss battles? Do you want to see them in Halo 3? If so, what should you fight? If not, why not?
I don't have any particular problem with them. I don't think there should be one each level. But maybe about 3 for the whole game would create good focal points. The ONLY boss fight in Halo 2 I liked was against Tartarus. The others were a let down. It's tough to predict who you would fight since we don't know the plot. Maybe when we have more info.[Edited on 5/15/2006]
I love boss battles for Halo, I would definetly enjoy them in Halo 3. P.S. There will have to be at least one boss, Truth. Either Cheif, the Arbiter, or both will own him.
I don't want bosses for Halo 3.
Bosses have their place, but it's not in Halo.that's the tru7h.
i think there should be a only one boss......gravemindi just want to see the master cheif and arbiter destroy him mercilessly and make him die slowly
No one likes a smart ass.....especially another smart ass!
If the fit well in the story line, then they are OK. They did a good job with H2 in not making them feel like "boss" battles, but more a part of the game.
Yeah have to agree with MEGs fighting Gravemind sounds fun!!!
I want to but it's better with the action, shooting and the advanture like halo CE

No, it doesn't matter how well they fit the storyline, it's silly gameplay. The focal points should be huge battlefields, tactical objectives, and exciting and desperate combat scenarios..... NOT mini-games in enclosed areas with their own sets of rules where you have to fight a super-enemy with an enormous health bar. It hinders the natural flow of the campaign and feels arcade-like and not as gritty.
