I played a game of FFA and this guy kicked my ass. I kept chasing him and it seemed he was only firing 2 pistol bullets and I was dead. Sometimes I died without even getting a shot on him.

Game1

I decided to stick around to see if I was right in thinking he had host. Next game he didn't do much. Point proven.

Game2

With all the debates about K/D and stat bragging going on maybe the way to improve your K/D is to get superfast internets. I'm thinking of it.

Idk, host really doesn't bother me.. I just live with it, and outplay my opponents.

Two different maps, different players, sorry this proves nothing.

Lol neither of you guys are very good so I don't think connection had much to do with it. Sure the host can sometimes influence the results of the game, but that's only when it's ridiculously laggy. If they're sponging a few shots here and there, it's not a big deal. Once you realize that the connection isn't very good or that people are sponging too many shots, you start playing more cautiously.

I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

If you want LAG, go back and Play Halo 2.

The Net Source Code has improven 100 times since Halo 2.

So Yes you can still have laggy games, but 95% of games are playerable in REACH, it was about 30% in Halo 2. Unless you were from America.

The anniversary playlists revolve around a 3 shot pistol. If there is any delay and players are evenly matched it makes a huge difference. As for being 'not very good' well that sums up 95% of people on here. Sorry we aren't all heroes like you. Idiot.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself man.

I don't have much experience with Halo so I wouldn't know.

I'd love you know how you can tell he was host...

There really is no reliable way to tell whos host. All you can say for certain is if you are host or not.

And no, connection has little to do with stats.

I play on a 3G modem and just look at mine.

I take it your last comment was an attempt at sarcasm. I've played Halo online since H2 and probably racked up more playtime than you on multiple accounts.

The fact you even said I was not very good suggests to me you have an elitist attitude. You probably search in full parties and have an inflated K/D for it. My hero.

You're the one who comes onto Bnet to create a thread making excuses as to why you did bad. Nobody cares.

What does that have to do with being a boyfriend of Bungie?

Bnet boyfriends makes more sense.

Bungie boyfriends sounds like you calling him a boyfriend with the Bungie employees.
