I play games just like you but I'm better at it!!!!

I have 1500 microsoft points and I can't decide which DLC (Defiant, Noble, Anniversary) to get.
So I thought I would get a few recommendations from the flood on the DLCs before I spend my points.

What I meant from the best value for money is which DLC gives the best gameplay, maps, epic moments etc.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Halo CEA I guess. Depends what you define as best.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Well, probably Anniversary because it has the most maps. They're good maps, too. Then, I'd choose Defiant. Then Noble.

The Anniversary pack gives you 7 maps for 1200, whereas the other 2 give you 3 maps for 800. Personally I wouldn't choose the Defiant pack as I don't particularly like any of the maps, but the decision is yours.

It now seems pretty obvious to go for the Anniversary as it has more maps, but I hear that It plays different because of the stronger pistol. Would this modification be on all of the maps included in that particular DLC?

It isn't the maps that make the pistol stronger. In some gametypes (Anniversary) the pistol is 3 shot kill to reflect the Halo CE pistol, in regular or Title Update settings it is 5 shot like normal.

The Anniversary maps play just like Halo: CE did. So, yeah, the pistol stronger on all of the Anniversary maps. Not the Reach maps.

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

It's the gametype, not the maps.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Anniversary, then Defiant.

"Don't worry I'll hold his hand"

Noble has the best maps, however anniversary is the best value. Defiant, I am not a fan of considering it wasn't made by bungie and the maps don't "feel" right.

Halo Waypoint Stats

Buy the Noble and Defiant with the MS points then buy a new copy of CEA for 20 quid.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

None, save your money [points] for a DLC worth spending on.

I had a huge regret buying the noble and defiant map packs. Luckily my friend thought Halo:Reach's MP was so bad he gave me his CEA anniversary code for free.

Even though I got it for free. I would still say it sucks and is not nearly worth 1200msp. Save your money.
