Subject: The Elites in Halo

Ok, so we all know that the elites that can be played as in Halo Reach are not qualified to be the default players in multiplyer, which is taken by the spartans. However, in Invasion, Firefight, Forge, and Custom games, you are able to play as elites. Now, since elites weren't able to be played as in Halo 3 ODST firefight, I am guessing the Elites are becoming a more intricate part of halo as playable characters, since you can be them in every part of the game lobbies (except campaign but its understandable).

So my question is this: In Halo 4, will the elites be excluded because they will most likely not be allies or enemies within the campaign? Or, just because the elites are important within the halo universe, will they still be included, perhaps with new armor too?

The Elites have no place in Halo 4's campaign whatsoever. In multiplayer sure.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

We have probably not seen the last of elites.

I have a feeling the prophets can rise again.

They vanished and were only numbered at 1000.

The Prophets fled with the engineer presumably. I doubt they are extinct.

I am alpha, i am omega.

I am the last of the primes.

My homeboy arby hit me up the other day, word on the street is that some foreunners and precs called him a punk. Now my man is going to -blam!- their -blam!- over, oldschool style like a boss.

Why would the Engineers go to the Prophets? Do you have any proof whatsoever? We do know for a fact that the Prophets vanished and only had around 1000 members of their own species left.

I think the Prophets with whatever little power they had left would take as many ships, engineers, and troops they can get and go into hiding.

Not that the prophets would even be able to pose a threat to anybody whatsoever with only that many left.

Prophets have many zealous followers. I am saying that they and the elites can still threaten humanity.

Look at all the damage Truth did by himself.
