Bleed through would be ok in my books if it didn't make meleeing so OP. In traditional reach, meleeing can AT MOST take away a full bar of shield, or health. In TU settings the melee now always takes out 1 and a quarter bar of shield/health.
I don't mind bleed through, but for the love of god, please balance the punches. If I have full shields and get punched, I should lose my shields but no health, if I have half a shield, and get punched, I should have half a health bar. If I have a sliver of shield, and get punched, I should have a sliver of health. As is, I think the bleedthrough has made the AR punch extremly overpowering as it has greatly reduced the number of bullets needed to hit a spartan before a punch is enough to kill. It has also resulted in going into battle with some shield only to find that a single headshot is still an instant kill.
So overall I dislike bleedthrough damage, and really wished 343 hadn't listened to all the forum trolls who constantly whined until 343 finally gave in. I really dislike most of the TU changes, but bleedthrough is probably the most annoying.
