Walk up to her quietly from behind and breathe heavily on the back of her neck and whisper "amore"

Their next game better have rocket boots!

I made that up.

I don't hate him in a "Ill cut your brakes" kind of way but in a *Insert hurtful name* kind of way. No offense

Maybe because he is new but i don't see him as a community manager or assistant manager. Whatever he is. To me his attitude is exactly like the forum ninjas. Rarely showing up but when they do arrive they avoid conversations and have sarcastic attitudes. oh and they seem annoyed and disappointed because the community isn't what it used to be.

Is it just me? I mean, he can write but its not as lively and quick paced as urks posts. He isn't funny either. But when he does try to be funny you can tell he tries hard.

Well i guess ill have to wait just a bit more to see if he something other than what i think he is. I cant hate somebody forever. I hope i learn to appreciate DeeJ

Do you like DeeJ? If so why or why not?

If I was paid to post on these forums, I would interact differently too. I like DeeJ, he is new but for all we know he could be cooking up something nice and tasty for us to feast on in the next few weeks.

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

You best watch your words son, you could end up in a deep permaban. Lol

I mean, I know this is "The Community" and all, and we are well entitled to our opinions... But I do have to say, for maturity's sake that while he likely won't care what a lot of people have to say negatively towards him, its still pretty ignorant to start an actual thread, about a specific person detailing why you don't like them, and why they don't meet your personal standards.

His job is to interact. Not to be funny. He is funny to some, and not funny to others. That part is simple. I've seen him do a LOT in terms of trying to bring this Community together, and that's what he's bloody well here for. So not only is he doing his job, and doing it well from what I've personally seen, keep in mind that he is not your personal jester. Their interaction with us beyond a professional level is an added bonus.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think he is fine.

it is hard to get to know someone new and we have been so used to Urk and how he acts. I am gad that Deej is trying to help the forums get back on track. he re-made the avatar/user theme program and the ride along events have brought many of us together again.

But like others have said, he is paid to post here and interact, he has to be careful what he says and he is really new so it will take a while to learn when something crosses the line or what is really funny to us in our little posse.

They are like Ask the Webmaster only lacking the drunk posting and sarcastic tone (for the most part).

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I think he's doing his best to reinvigorate a community that needs some more pep. That he's doing anything to help alleviate the monotony of Bungie not doing anything publicly is much better than the alternative. I frankly take some exception to you vicariously name calling a guy who is doing things solely because the Community needs something done to it. You don't like him, fair enough. I'd never try to tell someone they can't feel the way they want to feel. I do however have a low tolerance for name calling on this site. I'd suggest you edit that out, because its not needed, and you can make this point while still playing nicely.

The best way that you can deal with not liking reading DeeJ's contribution is simply to stop reading them. I know you should still have a say in it if you don't like something about your Bungie.net experience. Though, you won't have a problem at all if you simply don't read DeeJ's stuff.

The majority of us will still read it, despite it still being dark. The majority of us will still like him. Majority rules in this case. So, your complaint has been noted, and you're free to vent. Just don't expect anything to happen because of it.

Lol it's up to you OP whether to like DeeJ or not. Ever since Frankie left the sarcastic tone of the Bungie Community Guy has gone higher and higher. DeeJ brings it it down a few notches. Just sayin'

Real account.

Join me as we make new friends from different communities!

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

I hardly know him.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Are you comparing him to Qbix???

I reckon that ain't the wisest thing to do partner.

I think Deej has sparked new life in the Bungie community. I know till he joined we were even more bored and had a lot less exciting things happening for us.

Commune.

The verb, not the noun.

x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000

I have seen you future

Didn't we have the same thing happen when urk replaced Lukems? People were saying that he would never be the same, but eventually realizing that they love him?

First off, DeeJ had done some great things so far. He has ride alongs, the mail sack and for all we know he could have even more cooking.

He has also opened up B.net to people playing more games (or at least publicized it more).

  • 01.24.2012 2:05 PM PDT
