First let’s explain what you won't find here. There will be NO request for 'Bring Back the Pistol!’ Halo 1 was a great game and the pistol a great weapon. That being said Bungie never intended the pistol to be a power weapon thus it will not be brought back. All you people who suck with the BR deal with it and move on. Second I would love to see dedicated servers for Halo 3 but it isn’t going to happen. Dedicated servers take away the host advantage of any game; however the person who is located geographically closer to the server is still going to have an advantage. Thus Bungie would have to play servers all across the world in order to prevent German players playing on a US server and getting latency due to their geographical location. Thus all players in a certain region would be pointed at that regions server. This would mean that you would not play against the global Halo 3 community. Thus increasing wait time for games and basically the whole party system. That being said there is things what Bungie can and should do in order to make Halo 3 the greatest console FPS ever made.

1. Cooperative Missions Online
- This has been done already for Halo 2. What you say? Yes that’s right all you XBC people know what I'm talking about. There was a mod released recently that allowed you to play storyline missions while connected via system link to another modded box. I'm not really sure why this feature was left out of core Halo 2. Maybe it was the fact that Bungie was rushed in making the game. Now for Halo 3 I'm not saying that the single player storyline should be available online but wouldn't you like to see some aspect of online mission based play? I would, think of the possibilities, Bungie could release new downloadable missions via market place. Thus keeping the game fresh for those who don't play multiplayer (whoever you are).

2. AI Bots
- This is something that’s very challenging to do. Anyone who has played other FPS games knows that most of the time AI Bots are a joke. Sometimes they shoot at you other times they run into walls and do some really stupid stuff. But I can say that it would be great to have AI Bots where you can set the skill of. Playing Clan vs. 4 Bots would only make you play better as a clan without having to play 12 training games in order to find a single game where the other team doesn't quit out.

3. Map Editor
- Easily done. Bungie has its own map editor for Halo 2 they just didn't release it to the public. Why? Well in order to get maps to your Xbox you would have to mod it and we all know about modding maps and what the consequences of that are.

4. Bridger’s
- Well if you took the time to read the intro to this thread you know how I feel about dedicated servers. I think there are other answers to this problem though. Modders can be easily defeated with a simple check system before you enter matchmaking. Bridger’s are a totally different story. Unfortunately bridging is a legit way of connecting your Xbox to your internet connection. Basically what cheaters then do is add their buddies IP and XBL IPs to their trusted list and block everyone else. Bam instant host, now I don't mind people who do this ONLY to get host. No matter what you may think host does not always win. It's when you find two bridges you run into cheaters. The first one bridges his friend host then the second one begins to deny certain IPs connection to the host. This happens everywhere with every game online. What’s the remedy too it? I have no idea but I sure hope Bungie figures this one out before the launch.

Why no section for Quitters, Modders, Screaming 5 year olds? These issues have already been fixed with Xbox360's Rep system. Haven't heard of it yet? Where the hell you been. Feel free to post comments, questions or other ideas.

We don't need the pistol...

...just bring back the single-shot Battle Rifle from the 2003 E3 demo. That'll more than suffice.

You know what is wierd with AI bots it would be pretty laggy online, and also online co-op would be a problem also you would have to find the people that would want to play online co-op, plus it would be laggy. All the other ideas I like. Lag can't be stopped. :D

One of the great things about Halo 1, and one of the things that made me personallly love the game from the start was the 2 player capeign mode, I think its about time we took it to the next level and had not only the ability for 4 player capeign, but online campeign as well
