If you lost 500 games in a playlist, would you be able to rank up close to the same rate as a new account if you just kept winning all your games from there on out?

I was also wondering if it would make a difference if all those losses were on a lvl 1, compared to a lvl 20-40. Would they still be able to rank up at the same rate?

Cmon someone has to know. Does it take like twice as many wins to rank up or what?

It is not a linear system. We can't say 'oh that means it'll take 'X' more wins' or whatever. Even if you have two brand new level 1 accounts, even they could easily take a different number of games to reach a higher level. There are too many variables mate. I'd suggest reading up on the trueskill system and how it works if you'd like to get a grasp on it.

I guess you're right. I've read about it some before but I don't really understand all of it yet.
