Explonation

It seams tons of Halo fans have been scrambling and asking "How did Sgt. J make it off Halo, it was never explained, and than he just shows up in Halo 2 for no reason, whats going on, I mean, it was never explained, help me!" Well, I got tired, so you know what, I made this thread to show you how he got off of Halo, so the forums won't be spammed with the same question over, and over, and over.

How Johnson made it off of Halo:
Okay, simply, read the books if you want to not spoil your reading, go ahead, let me just point out:
Spoilers ahead

few years before the events of Halo, Sgt. Johnson captured a crate of Covenant Plasma Grenades, and used them all. This exposed him to a large amount of radiation, which gave him a disease called Boren's Syndrome. Instead of taking weeks off to have it treated, he went right back to fighting. He went to Halo, found the room, and was attacked by the Flood. But the Flood infection forms couldn't tune in to his neural frequency, so they couldn't take control of his body. He survived the encounter with a few puncture wounds, Flood DNA in his system, and regenerative properties. He made it onto a pelican that escaped the destruction of Halo, and met up with the Chief. They took control of a Covenant flagship in the system, eventually destroyed a Covie fleet that was headed for Earth, and made it back to the Cairo.

-Origionaly made by Geza, more information provided by Evil Turkey.

I hope this will help.

Close, but not completely right. A few years before the events of Halo, Sgt. This is just a summary, and if you want to know more, read First Strike.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

That was just for laughs. Not part of the story.

that elite is not the arbiter.. you should know at least sicne youve played the games that the arbiter is a commander and uses the gold colored armor.. the elite in the movie is blue.. so maybe you should pay attention to the game more next time.

Everyone these days don't pay as much attention to Halo as others do, they wont read the books, so they ask the same question.
Besides, if this would get stickied, that would be good, because that people would be able to see it, and not make those same threads.
