OK after hours (more like seconds) of replay, I finally noticed the acknowledgement light and then followed by the nod... but later on I noticed that in the HD sequence that when the giant construct is preliminarily powering up there is a mass lava flow (at least for dimensions... because lets face it the structure is literally miles and miles accross and the lava flow is quite large... well tell me if you see it and or if you need help locating it... peace

Crap mna, Halo is one of the few video games that does not have any lava, just watch Spy Kids: Game Over.

P.S. Don't ask why I watched that movie.

There is definitly something red over there but it is difficult to make out through the fog. It may be fire.

Considering that that artifact is far below the crust, that is most likely lava.

YEP point proven.... hahahahaha jk but its a good point... whatcha think its for??
i bet its the remains of the city that the covie destryed before the civil war (because in TFoR they say that the covie melted the planet harvest i think thats the name of it....but they melted it to glass and if you get rock at least that hot then that means that it turns into a form of hot lava

SO, what does this mean
A) its the remains of a human city emptying into or around the crust of the dome (...possibly providing it the energy???...)
B) its the energy supply of the city in the background...
C) its what happened when the covie dug that deep... its really deep in the crust so it MUST be lava
