Subject: Low Rank Armory Pieces, Y U No Get Moar Luv?

PS - I know I may seem contradictory because I wear the GUNGNIR helmet. I like it because of the way it looks, not because it was a high ranking piece.

I will never see why people like the lunch box helmet, but whatever.

I think it looks like a dinosaur. I freakin' love it. One more rank to go through..

I ONLY use lower rank armor. I HATE those silly bulky armor pieces you unlock at higher ranks.

When I first started on this account I bought my 400 cr shoulder pieces and called it good.

I will never and have never changed my armor pieces since day 1.

But your pieces all look similar and compliment one another, just like mine do. It's great to see cheap pieces getting some use, but you're right, all the bulky stuff was high ranked.

If it was the opposite (high rank = small pieces), do you think the trend would be different?

Please don't hype for games...
They'll just fall short of your expectations and you'll complain for months.

I like the armor I wear because of how it looks. Although sometimes I trade out MK V shoulder piece for recon or hazop.

I'd use whatever makes my spartan the smallest. Just like in Halo 3. I have the highest rank in that and I only use the default Mark VI Armor with scout shoulders.

If the higher ranks in Reach unlocked small pieces of armor instead of parts that look like I am building a dump truck I'd probably use them ... but they are so big I avoid them like the plague. I'd much rather stick with my low end / default armor pieces and have everyone in the lobby think I am a noob. I've been sent several messages asking why I use low end armor and why I don't spend my cR's. I simply find nothing in the armory I care about spending, plus the fact I don't care about cR's either lol.

I like medium sized pieces. Stuff that's too small makes the shoulder look wierd, but bulky stuff looks bad in general.

If regular Mjolnr MK V was unlocked at recruit for 100 cR, I'd still wear them.
