I recently started using the cloud save feature on xbox.
For Halo Reach, there was no savegame file to move to the cloud, so I tested it out by moving a couple of screenshots to the cloud:
- Loading cloud save: Those screenshots are available.
- Loading HDD save: All my other screenshots are available.
I played Reach on both my own console as well as that of a friend, using my gamertag both places.
It worked without a hitch for several days.
But tonight, when I started Reach, my xbox wasn't connected to the internet (the last time I played was on this same console - earlier today - whilst being connected to the net).
On the opening & main menu in reach, it shows my rank as private and my armour as the basic one.
If I hit the "|>" start button, the bar on the bottom (correctly) says my rank is Noble (i.e. the one before eclipse, not the spartan team), and if I enter the armoury, it shows my custom armour.
I've since connected my xbox to the internet again, but no matter if I load from HDD or Cloud, the problem persists.
So what gives?
Is this what happens when Bungie reset people they believe are cheating, and if this is what has happened to me, what do I do?
(I do doubt that's what happened to me, as my rank still shows up on the homepage and on the start menu).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

PS:
My apologies if this problem has already been posted, I haven't been able to find it when searching due to the tons of posts regarding cheater rank resets.
