In halo 1 we stuck with MC, in halo 2 we got a go of an elite, in halo 3 could we be treated to play as the flood (an infected elite maybe)?

What that would be mad, and it would make sense too that tentagle flood thing has to play somekind of role and you working for it fits right in, don't know what though.

The life and world you see is just a cheery toped and sugar coated version. You know nothing of Hell. Unknown to you and everyone around you is that there is a war going on that you can't see. Now that you know, you are part of it. And if you are going to survive, your going to need to learn to pull the trigger.

sorry to be mean, but that is just plain stupid.

they can't even think for themselves, they just kill and eat, that's it. what would be the point the point of playing a mindless zombie.

While it could work (and I have thought about it), there are game mechanics that would be flawed. For starters, the weak point of an Elite Combat Form (assuming that the fact it has shields is why it is selectable) is the chest, not the head, which throws off gameplay directly. What's more... it just doesn't make any more sense. As little sense as Elites and spartans killing eachother indiscriminately seems, combat forms thrown into the mix might just make it beyond taking. I've thought about it, and elites and Mark VIs are all we need.
