Subject: Annoying "Quit" glitch/bug

Ok, so this happens a LOT to me, please tell me if this happens to anyone else. You'll be playing normally, then everything goes black and it shows just the scoreboard, then it waits for like 20 seconds then it says everyone but you quit at the exact same time. Then it ends the game because there's no one for you to fight, and then once you get back to the menu it says it counts as YOU quitting, when you actually got disconnected form the game or something. I'm tired of getting banned for 10 minutes because i lagged out. And 99% of the time it doesn't even happen when i'm lagging, so i can't really call it "Lagging out." I guess i'll just call it disconnecting. But i usually encounter this at leat once every day. PLEASE tell me if i need to do something to fix this.

I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!

If you're using an older model 360, use an ethernet cable. Wired connections are less laggy most of the time.

If not, look up the thread on how to open your NAT.

It happens. I don't know why.

Cheaters shall be punished.
AFK-er's will be banned.

The Banhammer shows no mercy and if it finds you, which it will, expect to be punished for it cannot be fooled.

If it happens once a day then it should be no big deal. A 15 minute break does you good.

Yes you need to do something to fix this if you want to stop getting banned. But no, it is not a glitch or bug of any kind. the system can tell the difference between quitting and 'lagging out' (ethernet cord being pulled notwithstanding). But it still bans for both. On purpose. Because you leaving the game causes a less satisfying experience for other players and, since it seems to happen often, you are aware of this risk.

Contact your internet service provider if it happens incredibly often and you're worried perhaps.

This use to happen to me. It was because my modem would disconnect for a split second and cause me to lose connection to xbox live.

I did a modem check and found that my modem was running at -17dBmV anything above -15dBmV for my modem will cause it to have random disconnects.

I have a splitter that runs to my tv and my cable modem. I replaced the splitter checked my modem and it was running at -8dBmV which is almost perfect for my modem! Haven't had any trouble since! I don't know if you have your signal split or if this will help, but I had the same problem that you have and this fixed it!
