Me too. Personally I think it is a bad idea to punish players for quitting period, but I won't make a big deal about it because it only lasts 10 minutes. I personally only play multi team, and when I do play I only like to play objective game types. When slayer, elite slayer, or rocket hog race get voted in I sign out and then sign back in and search again. I always get warned that if I quit again I will recieve a temp ban, however it is never enforced. I can play what I want and filter out the stuff I don't want to play. Moral of the story is if you get a gametype you hate, just sign out! Punishment free! Sorry if this is common knowledge, I am rarely on these forums, but I think it's a helpful tip for those who play alone.

it would be nice if it was just 5 minutes.

There is a Team Objective playlist for a reason.

The quit ban is the last of reach's worries actually.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

Quit ban needs to be more severe.

Opinions are like butholes. Everyone's got one, nobody wants to hear about it.

I don't mind the quit ban...

...I just hate the morons that can't tell the difference between accidental betrayals and intentional betrayals.

Remember Elk

Well, I don't quit so I have never had to experience the quit ban. However if I ever did I wouldn't b1tch and moan about it on the forums.

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

In quitting a game, you effectively make it harder for the team you were previously on to win. Plus in BTB, 1 player quitting turns into a tidal wave of rage quits. The ban should be a half an hour.

Does getting booted count as quitting?

  • 01.27.2012 6:35 AM PDT

i only got the quit ban once and that was on bungie day, because i kept trying to match with them and quit if i didnt, but i didnt even get banned i just got that little notice saying "if you quit again you will be banned" so i said ok ill stop, whats frustrating is that thing pops up so many times!!! anybody else experience that?? like it popped up several times during my game and even sometimes while i was shooting someone, and it popped up the whole week after as well, did that happen to anybody else?

PSR = (((K+A)/D)*Win%)*120
The average player's PSR = 100

Who's got AIDS?

It confuses me that they made Reach with a quit ban system. Punishing players for quitting matches in a casual game designed around appealing to more customers? Wtf?

yea Quit Ban is poorly implimented but at the same time i don't want some little -blam!- head like the OP on my team quitting out all because he doesn't get his way.

do you think before you type?
They will always use the argument that when you quit lets say a 4v4...you might be happy but it effects 7 other people...so yea nice logic on your behalf....
