If you want to spend $100 on a controller what you aren't really going to notice a difference, sure go for it. I would only use it if i'm on the circuit and get it for free.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

MadCatz = instant no.

no if anything...this controller is supposed to help you improve your game play by 32%

the N-Control

How it works

you can use this controller to have a hair trigger for rapid fire...it is not a mod....but an adaption used to make your reflexes faster

This is one newer controller adaption that keeps your thumbs on the joy sticks at all times

Madcatz actually has some decent products is you look outside of walmart and their "cheap" lines of products. The MLG controller isn't a cheap controller it's actually well made, but for $100 it's not worth it. Did you know Tritton is owned by madcatz?

I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!

It's not a controller, it's a harness that you set your own wireless controller in. I shifts all of your buttons into bumpers/triggers so you never have to take your thumbs off the analog sticks.

I did not know that, but I don't use Trittons so it's hard to say that I care. MadCatz has too much cheap crap on the market for me to trust any of their products.

Really?

Even then, I will never trust their controllers.

Halo player since 2003.

It's like 3 controllers in one (PS3, X360, Custom), and it looks like a really good quality product. It even comes with its own case.

If you got the money and don't see buying it like a waste, go ahead.

From the reviews I've seen and from what my friends have told me.

Buy it if you want to. If feels nice, tad larger than the standard Wired S controller but it doesn't have that cheap feel to it.

The custom parts allow you switch where you want the analog sticks. It's got , I think a 2 year warrenty on it ($50). These are actually decent, nothing like old Mad Catz products. They were tested and not meant to be a cheap alternative.

dude there has got to be sites that do custom designs for controllers

Ugh people in this thread.

MadCatz has grown out of their N64/PS2 cheap days and they now focus on quality. They bought Tritton and work very hard with pro fighters on their fight sticks which are amazing. I picked up the MLG controller and I am VERY happy with it. They worked very closely with the MLG community and it shows. Its comfortable unlike the Onza and you can set it up in anyway you want it. Like the PS3 stick layout? Well then you can change it to that. Like the PS3 dpad more than the 360 one? Replace that too.

They also have a lot of different sticks if you want a more custom experience for your controller. Best part, if one of your parts that came with the controller go on the fritz they replace it for free.

Here is a quick review about the controller from a pro halo player.

"You are, all of you, vermin. Cowering in the dirt, thinking... what, I wonder? That you might escape the coming fire? No. Your world will burn until its surface is but glass! And not even your Demon will live to creep, blackened, from its hole to mar the reflection of our passage; the culmination of our Journey, for your destruction, is the will of the gods! And I...I am their instrument!"

I use an normal controller, because I like to play fairly and legitimately. (Not implying that you people don't do so).

WAIT to buy this controller, not enough reviews have even come out. So far the top complaints people should know about.

D-Pads are iffy from time to time

If you use a MIXAMP be prepared to have your voice quieter, "friends having harder times hearing me on this controller. plug in my normal controller and voice returns to normal" <-- HOW THE HELL DO THEY -blam!- THIS UP? THEY WERE DESIGNED FOR MLG WHICH ONLY USES THE MIXAMP!

Thumb-sticks feel like the common MadCatz, loose, so you will need to change your sensitivity down a little. Also have the feeling of slightly farther travel in all directions.

Currently they are only worth the purchase if you still play Halo competitively has only Halo is really affected by slow turn with it's stupid slow 30 frames a second.
