Subject: Do people still play Myth?

I used to be a BIG TIME Myth player back in the day. I think it was the only game I've literally played for over 24 hours straight (The joys of being single, and 15 lol). I went by the tag: Pacman TKC

Anyway I remember reading that some still play the game (Too bad B.net is done for :P ). I never got into the 2nd game so I'm considering picking them up? Can I still find a game online possibly?

You'd be surprised, it's pretty common to see 20-30 people on Mariusnet (hosts Myth now) at a time nowadays.

Check out For Carnage Apply Within. We're actually playing some Myth tonight, should be a good time (as always).

Oh yeah, sign up for MariusNet here.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Myth is still well and alive my friend.

Excellent... just ordered the Codex BRAND NEW on ebay for like 12$ total (Included shipping). I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to pick this game up to goto ebay cause you can get the total codex for $12 BRAND NEW there.

I think Myth is interesting in the sense of (I'm 29) I totally see Myth's, "Roots" in the Halo universe / physics. It was quite common to see a dwarf head go flying 1000 ft in the sky after a (Forget the name of the lighting wizards) lighting bolt blew him to pieces lol. Well you see it especially when driving the warthog.

Not to mention the terrain, etc.

Watching Bungies' video they talk about Halo was originally going to be designed as a RTS w/ Halo - like shell. Wow...

Which is kind of upsetting in the sense of seeing Bungie had already mastered the art of RTS and was originally going to make Halo a RTS why they didn't take the lead on Halo Wars and make it better than average. (Granted... I haven't played Halo Wars near enough to judge it fully... but it certainly didn't suck me in like Myth did)
