I searched the sticky and the last 5 pages and couldn't find this topic anywhere. If it does exist just link me to it.

Please have Cortana's lines pronounced so that I don't see 36 threads about it.
"I have defied gods and demons."
"I am your shield, I am your SWORD."
"I know you, your past, your future."
"This is the way the world ends."
But there's obviously something terribly wrong…
Anyone have an idea on what is terribly wrong?
1. Being a computer, it is unlikely that Cortana would refer to any being as a "god" or a "demon". (If she refers to someone as such in one of the games/books, please correct me).
2. While she is inside the Master Chief's armor, she is able to amplify his movements, allowing him to evade damage easier (shield), and to be more precise with any weapon he is using (sword).
3. She knows the Master Chief, as well as his past. His future, however, is harder to define, so I will do so a bit later.
4. She says this before the trailer shows the artifact opening up and "firing", so it could be a reference to that. However, I have another idea.
"I know you, your past, your future."
There is only two ways to know someone's future: either Fate is the overlying principle in the Halo universe, or she is talking about the Master Chief's death. I can't prove nor disprove anything about Fate, so I'm not even going to bother with that. The death part, though, is a little easier.
If, as some people thoerize, Cortana has gone rampant, is corrupted, has allied with Gravemind against humanity, or whatever, then she might be planning to kill the Master Chief. If she has some failproof way of killing him (i.e. overloading his suit's fusion core remotely) then she would, technically, know that he will die (and not a natural death from aging). Another possibility is that she knows of some other failproof plot to kill the Master Chief, and she can't stop it (in the instance that she is NOT rampant/corrupted/evil)
This can tie into her next line: she might know that the Master Chief dies in some fashion, and if he does die, then the world's only hope of survival will be gone. Instead of being split into two pieces due to a bad transmission, you can look at it like this: "I know you, your past, your future: this is the way the world ends."
The way Frankie wrote out the lines correspond to the way they are said in the trailer's transmission. However, that doesn't mean that is the way they were originally said.
