It's a shame it is against the rules to call you out on your rank, seeing as how the level you play at greatly affects the opinions you hold (on gameplay). Generally, if you are bad - Your opinions are wrong, and your argument is invalid.

GG

Any reputation you attain online is not a real reputation that actually reflects you as a person (in most cases).

Short(er) Answer: No, I don't care.

Breaking barriers.

Apart from a select few outstanding members, I do not think very many do.

I don't know that I even have a reputation in the mains, so no.
I am who I am, good-bad or indifferent.

Yeah I guess I do.

Not really. If I was well known, then I suppose it would be nice. Still doesn't matter.

  • 01.30.2012 9:02 AM PDT

Meh kinda, kinda not. On one level it's only a website. On another level you're talking with real people, so you want to at least feel like somebody's listening, and you don't want to be treated like an idiot.

I don't think very many people develop reputations though. Only the people who are constantly visible are the ones you will remember -- most people, if they only post three or four times a day or less, aren't all that noticeable unless they post every day. I mean, I've been here for almost five years and I don't think really anybody recognizes me.

I am THUGa, and the last one on Bungie.Net.

I'm just myself usually. I do my best to respect others in the way that I hope they would respect me.

Why can't we put Bungie Cards here?

Not at all, mostly because I don't have a reputation

I was a finalist :P

I'm probably known by some users who frequent here, but hardly anything reputation worthy. Then again, I really couldn't care about having a reputation here, be it good or bad.

That's not why I post here. Forums are dictatorships, and that is why I love them to death. Hell I've even joined a couple where I had no interest in the subject matter of the forum, and stayed there continuing to spew advice besides the fact that I've never owned a Halo/Bungie game

Hold on. That's not where that sentence was supposed to go.

Hardly. I wouldn't like it if everyone hated me, but other than that I don't care. I like most of the people here though, so it'd be nice if I were liked.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

I have rep?

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

No. I couldn't care less what people here thought of me. You're not real, anyways.

Remember Elk

I don't do anything to improve upon my image as quite frankly there is no image to start with : )
My name doesn't stand out and I do not spend enough time here to force people to notice me by activity alone so I stay anonymous and post what I feel like at the time. Only time I think I have actually gained any attention the last 3 years was during my 1 week marathon after new year this year where I posted as if I were many and used words and sentences that one would be hard pressed to find in any regular conversation in the flood.

  • 01.31.2012 2:39 PM PDT

Kind of.
But I have been stuck at this rank for over a year now :/

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

I want to be that Bungie member who when posts, people think, "Hey, I recognize that guy." That is all I want.

I don't imagine I have one here, nor care that much if I did, but i'd abhor having a bad rep on bnet.

I'm going to be honest, though...

I think being known as "the guy who likes the color neon lime green/fuel rod gun" or "the guy who made the assassination guide" would be cool.

I think we ALL care a little.
