Subject: The ARBITERs armour do you think it's crap

Lets face it the Arbter in Halo 2 had junk armour:
It only went 'invisible' for about 8 seconds
and it looked bad

I personlly hope he gets a proper one in Halo 3

Any comments? please... somebody?

I dont even want to play as him.

I would be cool if it looked nice, so it would look better when I kill him.

We don't know if the Aribiter wil leven be in Halo 3 yet, let alone what he will wear, but I don't think he will wear the same armour, it's a symbol of the old ways.

Did you want permanent Envy-skull-reset-trick on for the Arbiter?

The idea behind the Arbiter's armor is that it is much older than the normal elites' armor - probably the same type of armor worn by the very first Arbiter. For story purposes, the camo only lasts a short time so you aren't infinitely powerful when you play as the arbiter.

Personally I can hardly wait to play for him, dont care about the Chief to be quite honest and his armour pwnt life.

It's called tradition you fools, tradition and custom > 0mG MC H4x 4sh0t!!

Aprreciate it for what it has been through and represents.

The Arbiters armour was not crap...It was ceremonial and looked absolutly stunning.

And the reason for the little Active Camo was as some people have already said...Its ancient armour passed down through generations, so you cant expect it to be running at the same technical level as an Elites.

I personnaly cant wait to play as him and find out more about the Covenant and how on earth they are gonna escape Delta Halo (And yes I do realise that SpecOps Commander found a Covenant Cruiser)

Kyber Punk is God.

You must understand the armour is ancient and ceremonial, perhaps worn by the very first Arbiter, during the Age of Reconcilliation, the Grunt Rebellion and Taming of the Hunters. It is far more important than just to look cool.

Plus the 8 second camo was to maintain balance. Being constantly camo'd would ruin gameplay.

It still looks crap, no matter what it's age or purpose. If I was him I'd be demanding a new one.

Yay, there are people who like the Arbiter. I'm glad. I thought this forum consisted only of Arbiter haters. I thought his armour was actually kinda cool... different. Especially the gauntlets you can see in first person view.
On the other hand, I think it would be great if his armour changed to show that he no longer works under the covenant.

The reason I see for him keeping it is it probably predates the Covenant oath.

He probably sees it more as a symbol of his Elite blood, not his Covenant beliefs.

Weren't the Arbiters always a tool of the Prophets?

I am not sure. I dont know if the first Arbiter was instated by the prophets or if he was the Elite general who fought the prophets and then signed their treaty.

Not sure.

I couldn't care less about the things he's wearing, as long as he is in the game, I'm happy.
The arbiter is one of the coolest aliens and characters in the Halo universe. In fact, he's a bad ass in general.

it should be able to go invisible for alot longer like the regular covenant

No he shouldnt. What fun would it be being invisible for the whole game? The invisibility is just long enough if used stratigically, which most of you obviously dont. Also, I think he has the coolest armor of any of the Halo characters.

You guys are noobs. Is 8 seconds too short for you? Try Legendary, where it's 5 seconds. It makes it quite challenging. And YOU say 8 seconds isn't long enough???
How many times have you died on Easy mode?
