Halo, let's face it, just sucks. Yea, maybe you might find it fun. I'm sure if you play with some buddies, or play some custom games it might be fun. But what about those times when you just wanna hop on and play some halo?
I was playing Modern Warfare 3 earlier in the week and, if you know how cod is, you can just hop on and play in a game. If you don't like that game, simply quit out and join another. There's no penalty for quitting. And sometimes when searching for a match, I hop right into an already existing match. And with MW3, I get rewarded for everything. And when im feelin like playing some team games, playing Search and Domination are just a playlist away. And I still get rewarded for very thing I do. It's awesome.
Then I pick up Halo and try it after not having played it for a while. I realized why I just don't enjoy playing it anymore. You get penalized so much. I was playing a bad game, getting stomped on (I don't really mind losing, but when you are going 4-20 then it's just boring). I was just about to quit when I realized that if I did I could get quit banned. And I wouldnt get any cR. So in order to even leave the game, I had to ride it out. It was dumb. And it was anniversary playlist, and not having played it for a while, I was getting killed by that three shot pistol. It was just dumb and didn't make sense to me that I was dying so fast.
So idk about you guys, but I really believe that if Halo 4 is to thrive, the most important aspect about it should be what is truly fun. I don't want to be banned for quitting games. That just makes me want to play it less. And the 3SK pistol may have been cool in CE, but it's plain boring in Reach. You can't up the kill time on one weapon but not the rest of the sandbox.
Feel free to argue with me. With love.
