Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Bungie.net has https; it's just not default.

https://www.bungie.net/

-edit- Did you change the thread? I could of sworn you were asking about https.

I think there was a thread about it, and I might have saved it.

Nope, didn't save it. :(

Sadly I can't remember what it said either.

Screw Foman, he is a terrible moderator.

Not so secure, but very secretive.

What do you mean secure?

Bungie.net simply redirects to hotmail. So as secure as that.

That'd be my guess.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

The website? It looks very secure to me. I'm not aware of any successful attempt to DDoS it, much less any real software tampering. I seem to remember the guy who cracked bungie.org saying he was coming after bungie.net next. I don't think he, or anyone else have ever even gotten close.

The accounts? Well, they're WLIDs, so our accounts are only as secure as we make them, and xbox live allows them to be. So, they're not the most secure accounts in the world, or even the game industry for that matter. With some careful steps, and a little luck, they can be relatively secure.

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

I'd say it's pretty insecure.

It's been having issues with the family over what it wants to do in life as opposed to what it's family wants it to do. These bad experiences and negative vibes from it's loved ones have led to bungie.net not feeling as confident as it should be, and it's causing problems with things such as talking to women or making new friends.

What about the site is secure?

I was just wondering in general since other sites I visit have these encryptions on them.
In what sense?

The "Secure Browsing" option?

That's there to automatically redirect you from HTTP to HTTPS.

This site is like Fort Knox probably. It sort of is. Look at all the gold bars and screws laying around!

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

It has passwords and stuff. I'm an expert.

Thats like saying uber nerf armor lock because like 20 percent of the community hates it. Oh wait..................

If your ever worried about security on any website there are special programs that force the connection to stay in HTTPS://
However alot of sites will return a 404 if you try this since they aren't designed to maintain a constantly secure connection.

All in all i think bungie.net is set up well and who would want to attack it anyway.

Heavy weighs the crown, low hangs the head who wears it.

Bungie has an SSL certificate, so in that sense (secure browsing) yes it's secure (if you use it).

Is it vulnerable? I've got no idea if it's vulnerable to any sort of attacks, like: SQL injection, Hash-chain collision DOS, Slow Read DOS, etc. I've never tested any of these attacks on Bungie nor would I. (Note: By listing different types of attacks, I'm only meaning to provide examples, if they should be removed please let me know)
