I'd die to become immortal,
That's why I play Halo Reach
I'll keep this simple
I originally liked Halo because it was different to all those other games that were out there where all it was was mindless slaughtering and gory destruction. I love that about the entire storyline and all the gameplay etc. Halo was a great game, and Halo 2 was even better. Halo 3 should carry on the solidarity of the first two.
Too cartoony?
You obviously don't watch enough cartoons.
From what i've seen in the trailer, The Halo 3 storyline seems like one that will focus a lot on the plot, but will include a lot of events in the actual gameplay. This is another feature i enjoy about the other Halo games. Bungie's ability to work key events into actual gameplay so cinematics don't become an hour long between gameplay.
Now, i've heard about Halo 3 being "Darker" than the first games. well, i certainly would enjoy a bit of darkness to hide behind. Is this darkness because of the Covenant Vicory or is it because of some other really bad event taking place (maybe someone dying)? nobody knows for sure yet. i sure would like to see things get a bit darker, but for the light to break through eventually.
Now i definitely do not want to see any of Half-life or Doom or any of that crap put any where near the making of Halo 3. now i know i can trust Bungie there.
Halo 3 darker? well, we already "know" that it will be slightly darker than its predecessors. Making it as dark as some of those other games that are out just doesn't sound like a winning move for one of the most creative and ingenious companies on the planet.
I think we can all safely say that we trust Bungie with Halo 3 and that if they screw it up...
Well, let's just hope they don't screw it up.
Like i said earlier... Keeping it simple.
