I would have been extatic if Halo 2 was as fun as Halo multiplayer was, but sadly this is not the case. Halo 2 at E3 2003 was my vision of what Halo 2 would be, but sadly that didn't happen, and we ended up with a poorly made rushed copy of the game we all wanted, with a multiplayer that had been made suited for prebubescents and "soccer moms", with an individual player skill cap that dies the second you learn to sweep snipe, sword lunge and super bounce.
I hope Bungie returns to to it's roots with Halo 3, and focuses on a game that requires skill to be effective at, not posseion of a better weapon. I also hope they return to creating original things for gameplay, unlike dual weidling and many other features.
If ideas need to be stolen from a game, make that game Halo, which sold a record smashing 7 million copies of Halo 2, that right, Halo sold 7 million copies of Halo 2, not Halo 2.
