Just my two cents. I'm sure we could MAYBE see either Powerhouse or Countdown as remakes in the future, but other than that, lolReachmaps

But in all seriousness, I have to disagree with you. Spire is an amazing Big Team Battle map, but the invasion gametype truly makes this map incredible.

Uncaged is not a default Reach map. If you are talking about Cage, then I still like the map mainly because it requires you to constantly move to different locations on the map in order to survive or win. It is also a great map specifically created for objective games such as oddball and hot potatoe. The one problem with Cage is that players using jetpacks can fly to differnt locations more easily than players without jetpacks, but it's still a factor that makes the game more challenging and interesting.

Pinnacle is a fun map for objective gametypes, especially One Flag CTF. I also like it as a King of the Hill map because
of the many locations the hill moves to.

Can you elaborate?


-banshee spawns too close to spartan spawns
-FRG camping the core room is unbalanced
-Elite spawns are wide open on that ledge, making it easy to bomb them with the stolen banshee or suppress them with the falcon (and no, jetpack + PP doesn't do anything against smart pilots)
-Elites don't have access to a quick route to the top of the spire, meaning they can't really defend the core unless they camp there immediately after phase 2, on its return, or when it's on the ground
-elite's only way to take out the falcon is the banshee and plasma launcher, both of which are easy to steal and avoid.

Phase 1 is fine if you know how to play. Spartans don't need DMRs cause that'd make spawn killing them easier

That seems to be the case, but I do recommend playing those "fun" maps with the respective gametypes that I have mentioned. Each map in Reach is amazing depending on which gametype(s) you are playing. The maps may be the worst out of the Halo series, but they are still good maps.

Someone doesn't do well on hemorrhage, which makes me wonder: is this your first Halo game, cause out of the 4 games with multiplayer, only 1 did not have an incarnation of Blood gulch on it. Anyone who's played CE and Halo 2 should be able to play Hemorrhage, since there is no real difference in any of them.

Corrected. How do i not do well on hemorrhage? You make no sense. Halo 3 was my first Halo game, i am a Halo vet (5+ yrs of Halo is vet, get off me Halo CE kids) and you have no point.


Only people who don't do well on it tend to not like it.

Most of those examples usually occur depending on the teammates you or the enemy have. While the Spartans may spawn close to the banshee, the elite spawns closer. You can prevent most of these things from occuring by suppressing your enemy.

And the falcon is quite easy to take out. Have an elite near the Spartan vehicle spawns to prevent Spartans from getting on their vehicles. Also, if an elite teammate happens to ride the banshee, they can harass the spartans by destroying all of their vehicles and prevent them from retrieving their power weapons.

Invasion is all about having a good team, suppressing your enemies from achieving their goal (whether it is the objective or something they want to get), and harassing them (distractions, kills, etc.).

I think zealot and countdown have potential. Uncaged needs fixing, especially spawns and the wall next to sniper spawn. Also sword base may be reintroduced due to its popularity..
