With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.
If, I say, IF! they make a Halo 3, there should be Covenant "light cycles" (not ghosts, mind you) that are very Tron-esque (damn, I really need to watch that movie again!). They'd shoot instantaneous beams of energy akin to those which are vomitted out of UT's Shock Rifle. Also Bungie would do what all game designers have to do with their AI, wich is make them cheat. AI in games can see through walls, and calculate so that their rockets run EXACTLY into the spot which you just chose to move to. Rather than use this cheating method to make the AI more "human" (by making AIs use mind games (if you have questions on what I mean by that, PM me) with you), Bungie would just let them go unchecked, always kicking your ass. Frusterating, yes... but oh! The possibilities! (Think fighting the character Xan in UT on the godlike difficulty setting...).
... And John 117 would have to die, in the end. With that, there can be no more sequals, which would make the story go stale (if the main character dies, and you make another game.... it isn't smart). Also, it just seems, for lack of a better word, proper to have him be killed off in the very end. Sad, but possibly moving in a good way. It's something that would make you sigh, smile, and say, "Well that was fun" (in a serious manner), or something akin to it.
