Subject: How has this site affected you?

Relax. I'd rather not piss this thing off.

-Master Chief

I never get bored anymore, and once and awhile have a laugh.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Created, devloped and excelled my hate for DeeJ.

It got me inspired to go to college and work for Bungie one day.

Hello! You may also know me as Ijnekono. How you have made your way here I do not know, but welcome. (:

I believe it has given me insight into the lives of people of diverse origins. Other times, this site has inspired me. I have also expended considerable time on B.net that could have been used better else where. However, it is worth it.

  • 01.30.2012 4:17 PM PDT

It's taken control of my life.

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

I've actually tried to become better at spelling and grammar, which is very helpful in school.

Carpe Diem - Carpe Coffee

Astronomy Picture of the Day!

It frequently converts boredom into hilarity and crunch-time into non-productivity. Kind of a double edged sword I guess...

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

Hmm, I thought I had replied here but apparently I have not.

This site has taught me a lot about people, and I use that in my day-to-day life. This site has given me a place to hang out when I don't have anything else to do (and even when I do). Through this site, I've met a fair number of people, and a few of them have influenced my life incredibly. From simply showing me that someone can love their job, to showing me that a job or career does not constitute enjoying life, this site and the people I've met on it, have changed my life.

To the people who have influenced me, thank you. To the people who have tolerated me when I was annoying, thank you. To the people who accepted me when others would not, thank you. I've been visiting this site on-and-off for near five years now, or to put that in perspective, through High School and into college.

I am a Bungie (community) man.

Through Bungie.net is where I channel my procrastination; it's what I'm doing right now.

This. Whenever I should be doing something productive I always am on here instead.

Hmm... to put it simply, you decide.

That pretty much sums up my bungie experience as well...

Welp, I joined a community back in '09 and I'm still there. In fact I'm talking with them now.

And if he didn't randomly decide to PM me one day, my life would be really different.

"You dead yet? No? You will be!"

"How you like them pears? Guess what I mean by pears."

"I'm gonna rip off his partridge and kick him in the pear tree!"

This site gave me clothes and other swag.

It also got me to be more close to the international and national news.

My grammar has always been elite, but this site definitely shaped up what was wrong with it.

Yeah... I'm that cool.
Robot Academy. Kinda sorta the best group on here.

It gives me something to do when I'm supposed to be studying, like I am now, which I usually regret the day before my exam.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

It's upped my procrastination level over 9000.

I noticed that during my time banned, I actually studied for two exams I had, while had I not been banned, I would have never studied.

DAMN YOU BUNGIE

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

While on Bungie.net I've mainly gotten much better at typing as well as using grammar and spelling. Of course Bungie.net has gave me somewhere to go when I'm bored, but that's a given.

I think I may have over analyzed the question, in which case I have changed my answer: It has given me a place to go when I am/was bored.
