Seeing as how in the end of Halo 2 that Arbiter was on the side of the Human's, it is safe to speculate that he is now a friend.

I think that in Halo 3, there should be two different campaigns: One for the Master Chief, the other for the Arbiter. Their stories should be intertwined somehow, yet seperate.

And, possibly in some missions, MC and the Arbiter would have to work together to achieve a common goal.

This makes sense to me because in Halo 2, we were forced to play as the Arbiter. Why not choose to play as him in order to get the full story? Like once you beat MC's story, you still have certain questions that the Arbiter storyline will answer.

Tell me what you think.

-Its a MG42!

i think in multiplay co-op, they should let one play as master chief, while the other is the arbiter. maybe the arbiter is more of a stealth catacter and MC is brute force. And in single player pick between the two like you siad.

I suppose it wouldn't be too bad if the Arbiter and The Master Chief worked together in some levels, have him as your partner, and don't let him die, remember in Truth and Reconciliation on Halo 1, how your not allowed to let Captain Keyes die? Same here for the Arbiter, maybe.
