After a while of using a XBox contoller for PC (and getting beaten) I started campaign on easy, learned the controls without a contoller. I must say that using a mouse and keyboard is A LOT more accurate than a lousy controller.

Now I just have to wait for "Live Anywhere" to play a game against a console player on his 360.......

I already knew a mouse is better (i play CoD), I just never learned to play Halo without a controller.

The only thing I wish PC players got to get.......a rumble mouse.

Oh, and I'll be right by your side blasting all the console users while they shout "OMG CHEATERS!!! YOU SU-" but they won't be able to finish what they were going to say while we shoot them down and make them drown in their own pool of blood.

All console goers- beware! Mouse and keyboards- and PCs in general- rule!

One of us!

I don't think a rumble mouse would be a very good idea, however I do wish that they enabled the vibration feature in PCs.

Then what part would vibrate? The entire thing? Eventually it could fall off the shelf or whatever it's on (mine would) and go boom.

LoL, the reaction on peoples faces when they see visually that they're mouse and keyboard is shaking likes its extremely hyperactive, and its moving all over the place, and falls off their desks. LoL, they would think WTF squared.

Rumble keyboards would be a dumb idea - it would be hard to keep your fingers on a vibrating keyboard. And I believe there are some mice with feedback rumble in them - Black and White had rumble feedback built into it, I know that.

Yes. There are two products out there I believe. Smart joy frag and max shooter. I have a Max Shooter and honestly it's not the same as a M&K. The crosshair jumps a lot randomly and it isn't smooth. Driving vehicles and using turrets are even worse because the horizontal look sensitivity is way too low. They're both $20 but I wouldn't recommend the Max Shooter (haven't tried the other). I read somewhere that you needed a high dpi gaming mouse to make the mouse movements smoother but it still doesn't fix any problems. Suffice it to say I'm using a controller to play on Xbox.

I welcome you, on behalf of the other PC FPS Gamers, and PC Gamers in general, and The Maw Community Members, to our world. A world where PC owns consoles and eveyrone is happy.

And yes, I can't too wait for "Live Anywhere", if it is to come. It's gonna be sweet.

'Tis strange, no?

Put subwoofers on everything, including the chair, mouse, keyboard, screen, surround sound speakers, forehead, arms, hands, and legs. Then play Halo and feel the true experience.

There's some info that might help you set up your Max Shooter for Halo.

No amount of tweaking will fix the fact that I'm handicapped in a vehicle or a turret. I don't know why the Max Shooter is getting such high scores from reviewers. (http://hardware.teamxbox.com/articles/xbox/1241/Max-Shooter-R eview/p1/) I've spent a lot of time tweaking this thing and I can't get anywhere close to mouse like movement and precision. I tried changing deadzones, in game look sensitivity and DPI settings on my gaming mouse. Nothing works.

Umm... IT ALREADY DOES THAT! Most games, including Halo PC, already have the screen shake effect in the games.

Oh yes, a true surround-sound experience would beat a rumble keyboard and mouse by a long shot. Besides, a rumbling mouse and keyboard would be quite retarded and just be a nuisance when you're trying to blast demons from hell with a plasma cannon.
