With me, it was a case of 'Too much stick, not enough carrot'. I felt like the game forced me play the repitive gameplay which I didn't like, and in the end, I didn't feel it there was a substantial reward.
The Campaign okay, but characters died off quicker than a cliched 'Slasher' film.
Firefight was enjoyable, for a bit. Until the repitiveness kicks in.
Multiplayer. Jumbled as a shuffled card deck. 343i just doesn't know what to do with it. So they just chuck some new maps in there, and hopefully make the community happy. All these updates is what screwed the multiplayer up for me. It was perfectly fine when it first came out.
Then 343i caved into the skiddies and cry-babies, and gave them what they wanted. No-bloom, decreased AL recharge times, removed the AR from most of the Slayer varients.
But unfortunately, the reaction was one of an 8-year-old with 'A.D.D'. It wanted more. So 343i gave them that. Still it wasn't enough.
Hah, but these loud words have fallen on deaf ears. As usual.
