Subject: Does Bungie ever plan to develop for the Wii U?

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I don't have a Wii. It was taken away on a count of me playing with my Wii too much.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

There isn't anything on the job page for that.

*le wants a Pokemon game for the Wii U*

I know Bungie wouldn't get involved with that, but I wouldn't be mad to see them move to that platform. Anything Bungie is fine with me.

If I was head of a company then I probably wouldn't do a game on the Wii U. Though Bungie can improve the online services on the Wii with their games like they did with Halo on the xbox.

The Risk Is Worth The Reward.
Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War.

I have a pretty good feeling that they will keep clear of them The Wii is good for little kids but not for real games.

I really, really hope they stay clear of developing for Nintendo.

Why does everyone think the Wii U will be as kid oriented as the Wii. Look at the games list.

Also, Bungie President Harold Ryan stated that "I absolutely believe there is a place in the world for the Wii".

I am 95% sure Bungie will never develop for the Wii U. Nintendo has planned a very simplified "online network" for their next home console. The Nintendo Network will only allow updates and some basic online interaction that is slightly more in-depth than their current console. This means MMO games or games with a massive lobby system will not work. Judging by the little information we have on Bungie's next game, it's going to be online/multiplayer extensive. Nintendo simply does not offer this.

You need to learn, Learn. Start thinking about the big picture and not a blip on the radar. These are long marathons and you're claiming Nintendo is dying after a rough start to the 3DS. Sales are really picking up, software sales are going through the roof, they have the next new platform coming later this year. Dying? Hardly. Tone done the doom and gloom hyperbole.

If porting to the Wii U can be easily achieved at a cost effective price then I don't see why they wouldn't. Business is business.

For the Wii. Not for the Wii U. They've confirmed they're building a real network where we're going to have accounts (bye friend codes) profile information, probably achievements, etc. Will the Nintendo Network rank up with Live and PSN? I don't know. I can tell you though that what's in place now is being demolished for a new online space.

Relax. I'd rather not piss this thing off.

-Master Chief

I sure hope they dont, theres very few Wii users, plus with motion control how exactly would that work. No offense against Wii users.

ISU Cyclones!

If the WiiU stays on the level of current or the next gen consoles that Sony and Microsoft put out (whenever those end up coming) I don't see any reason to not include the WiiU in the multiplatforming stuff.

Bungie's got a lot of older gamers so I'm sure they retain more due respect for the elder that is Nintendo that many younger gamers lack nowadays.

Get off my lawn and all that, yeah. But it's true.

Poor use of words to explain your joy; I don't see wi-fi connection being demolished. Nintendo Network a new central... network to both rival other platforms for their new consoles, it does somethings differently, somethings better and somethings new so they should be able to co-exist just fine without the old stuff being nuked ala Xbox Live for original xbox games.

Anyhow, MMO's? Lobbies? Dreamcast was doing that over a decade ago with ye olde Phantasy Star Online. If I recall, PS2 had a port of Final Fantasy XI as well as the sequel to the PSO games. Wii and Wii U are both getting a version of MMO Dragon Quest X.

If any platform will hold some kind of MMO game back, it will be Microsoft's lonely impenetrable fort, though with their extensive experience on the platform I expect whatever Bungie's new game is it will work around the barriers that have caused other developers to flee in panic.

Sounds like the setup to a punch line involving garbage disposals.

>_>

<_<

I kid. But yeah, if they can port the game to the Wii without affecting the other platforms, by all means, do it.

Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphors have two parts : form and interpretation; of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom being the briocoleus, the mason.

The Halo games have always been dedicated to playing with friends, either in coop or multiplayer, across the internet or not. The Wii U it seems is intended as a device to bring gamers together, so it may seem fitting for their purpose. But we will have to see.

I believe the Wii is a family console, designed to bring family/friends together for games.

Bringing gamers together is too big a stretch.
