This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

I just don't understand how some people can not understand the plot of halo at all. Look boss battles are going to be needed. Do you want to kill Truth or watch a 30 second cut scene of master chief owning him? Seriously that wouldn't do the series justice at all. As for fighting the arbiter thats like saying bungie should get rid of the flood. Completely and utterly ingores the current point of the games plot. I mean the prophet of Truth ordered tarturus and the brutes to eliminate every damn elite. Thanks to Truth hundred if not millions of elites died. Every elite in a capital ship or HC died. The only ones left are on delta halo with half jaw and the arbiter and possibly left over heritics. The arbiter now knows what halo does and will be telling the rest of the elites and hunters the Truth. They will then obviously from there take regrets ship. I mean do you honestly play threw campaign pressing X every time a cutscene starts?

we should be able to fight truth but right before he dies it switches to cut-scene, where it shows the MC blowing truth's head in with a shotgun.

the arbiter isnt going to fight master chief, and regret was an easy boss to kill, i doubt truth will be any harder.

well you see there were will defintely be a forerunner invovled and another strong brute and some flood superpower and the Prophet of truth should be in it but no brawl will be between masterchief and the arbitor
like gravemind said fate let us meet as foes but this will make us brothers
so they are in brotherly hood so they will work together

Brutes and jackals yes, grunts no. Grunts, like the hunters, are with the elites. Brutes, jackals and drones will be fighting for the Prophet.

I doubt the Arbiter will do battle with chief but If they did I think it would be cool to have a choice of who you wanted to battle.

Think like all the missions lead up to this final conflict after Arbiter has dealt with Truth, and Chief kills Gravemind (possibly Cortana as well. You kill a A.I by pulling the plug on it's ass) Then the two make their way into the Ark and kill Brutes, Jackals, Drones, flood and anything else in their way seperatly and with marine/elite/hunter/grunt support.

thousands die in the Ark on both sides then in the middle of combat the Arbiter stops and realizes that he his fighting side by side with a human who has killed hundreds of his brothers and now leads his remaining elite brothers to their deaths.

Arbiter slashes a plasma sword into the chiefs marine buddies (possibly Jhonson even) and when the cheif realizes what happens he picks up a neaby dead gold elite's sword. The two become locked in the first battle where the swords actually clash and clang together (the halo 2 swords can't simulate a real sword fight but they should be able to in H3). The two fight and their battle goes all over the place as creatures from all sides die around them until the two make their way to a chasm (huge hole).

If you could chose the character you play as (I would be the cheif) the fight culminates in Arbiter being stabbed fatally and being kicked off the cliff into the chasm. Master Chief then goes back and finishes the battle for the marines and stops the ark's activation and/or closes the ark so the marines and himself will survive the blast.

If you played as the Arbiter you would kill te chief and when you stab him a cutscene plays where Arbiter knocks his helmet off thus revealing his face.

Then the same ending happens except you go back and kill flood/loyalist covenant/marines and then take over the earth after you either stop the blast or let it go.

How cool would that be?

Still I doubt that Truth will be the last boss though I believe you will be able to kill the Zealot scum.
