Any way to lauch halo.dxtp through xfire?

(Active cammo fix

Halo PC and CE both do not render the "glassy cammo effect" seen in Halo Xbox properly if you are using an NVIDIA card, the fix is simple and straightforward.

Active Cammo fix for NVIDIA users

When you done with this fix, delete you old halo desktop shortcuts (don't worry about any command line parameters) and create new shortcuts (with the fix enabled) by going to DX Tweaker's directory, looking for "halo.dxtp" and "haloce.dxtp", and creating shortcuts of them to the desktop.

With the new shortcuts made, rename, right click on the shortcuts and apply the halo icon from the default halo folder.

NOTE: Cammo works properly for ATI video card users.)

Does opensauce natively fix it or is it a mod based on opensauce that fixes it?

OpenSauce fixes the active camo bug automatically.

The "FPS kill" is irrelevant if you have at least a low-mid range video card, and the FPS loss can be decreased by turning off motion blur and other effects (I run Halo CE with OS, everything maxed out, 1440*900, bloom and moblur, at 120-ish FPS on a HD 5670, lol)

RAM won't make much of a difference.

Simple: Stop using Xfire.

And yes, it supports it natively.

Simple: Stop using Xfire.

The entire point of this thread was for him to find a way to use Xfire along with fixing the camo. The solution isn't "Just stop using Xfire." Some people find Xfire's service to be too convenient to give up just so they can fix a few graphical glitches. In the case that there is no solution then it's just too bad.
And yes, it supports it natively. What do you mean? OpenSauce v3.0.0 doesn't support Xfire. It doesn't even let you play with the application running even when you disable Xfire from interacting with the game. That is unless you're talking about something other than OpenSauce.

I did mean active camo. Syx, are you making a sport of misunderstanding me?

...and are you making a sport of acting like a complete ass? I did say "That is unless you're talking about something other than OpenSauce."

Also, excuse me for not understanding, but are you just mentioning that the Active Camo fix works natively with Open Sauce? Do you not see at all how easy it would be to mistake what you said when you had even quoted Btcc22 talking about Xfire not working with Open Sauce? There wasn't necessarily enough wording there to be absolutely clear.
