How do I practice to get better in matchmaking without making my already horrible k/d any worse? I mean games like slayer or invasion, not SWAT.

Troll comments will be ignored.

Keep playing matchmaking. The more you play, the better you get, the faster your k/d will go up.

Personally I don't know why you care. K/d usally just shows how campy people can be and not care about objective.

RC Clone is the anti-thesis of a lurker.

Ignore your k/d and just play it. That's how. You won't get any better by dilly dallying around the playlist and trying to avoid it.

You will eventually improve as your experience grows. However, if you really want to get better you should play with the intention of getting better. Watch how good players play, study tips and tricks, and always rewatch your gameplay to see what you did wrong.

chances are I don't care who you are or what you say.

once you stop caring about your K/D and try to actually get better, you will see it go up.

I suggest you think while playing, and re-watch films (both good and bad games) and notice what you did right and what you did wrong

Whenever you have a bad game, go into theater to review it. See what the players who beat you did, and emulate their strategies to the best of your ability in future games.
